What Brands and Flavors of Protein shakes do you use?

Hey Bros,

Just spent the last hour reading up on prior posts in the supplement section of the board. Curious as to what brands and flavors you guys recommend for Whey Protein Powder and Creatine Powder.

About two months ago, I bought Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Isolate Powders in Extreme Chocolate, Banana, and Vanilla. I use a shaker and throw in a few ice cubes, fill up half with unsweetened Almond Milk, the other half with cold water, and then put two scoops of the powder. I really like the Extreme Chocolate and the Banana flavors. Vanilla was okay. After reading some of the prior posts, I think I'm gonna' try throwing in a couple of raw eggs and shake the fuck out of it.

Anyways, I'm going to be buying some more Protein Powder in the next couple of days and need to start taking some Creatine Powder. Trying to pack on some muscle during this current cycle. Any thoughts on brand recommendations with the best flavors is much appreciated.

I got like 3 ON 10lb jugs lying around and I just cannot get over how shitty I think they taste for whatever reason. I have always been a huge chocolate flavor fan but damn.... They just didn't hit it home for me with their flavoring.

Syntha-6 tastes really good but the cost-servings/value ratio just isn't worth it in my opinion.

Still hunting out the perfect brand & flavor :)

P.S. For creatine I just get the plain unflavored monohydrate and take it down with a shot of water... easy, effective and cheap.

I LOVE SYntha 6...best tasting and its a blend. Im not sure how much you knows about whey but our bodies can only use so much at a time. In essence when you take a lot of whey some gets wasted. Food for thought, I pay $85 for 10 pounds on bodybuilding.com

I think creatine is a waste of money personally, BCAA are a good addition along with a multi vitamin:) Just my opinion...think that's the first time I didn't agree with you Joseph...as I LOVE AAS AND SLUTS MYSELF:6limgqc::1383359905:

I like Carnivor , I use two flavors though. I use Vanilla Caramel if I drink it with milk and Blue Raspberry if I drink it with water. It's some great stuff.

Syntha 6 chocolate malt is good if u have a vitamin shopping by u they will match there on line pricing in the store so do ur homework sometimes u can get a better deal.

I mix the chocolate with a little milk in my morning coffee with breakfast water through out the day,mixes well too.

I just got a huge sample of shit, one pound of about 6 flavors from true nutrition. Double dutch chocolate fudge, and strawberry cream premium flavors are winning by a mile. I mix them in whole milk. The fudge isn't fudge at all, it's like a really creamy chocolate milk. The powder is micronized and mixes better than ON whey, and the taste is far superior. I haven't tried all of the premium flavors but these two hit it out of the park and I might pick up more to sample just incase there's even Better.

Magnum Nutraceutical Quattro Chocolate flavor was my go to for a long time, I just recently built my own on truenutrition.com and made it peanut butter cup flavored cant wait to try that out!

I'm actually a pretty big fan of Jim Stoppani's line of supplements I use his pre/post and his multi. I'm sure his protein is very quality too ... good solid blend! I just prefer to make my own now and use that good hydrolyzed stuff :p

Vanilla is the most diverse and dynamic flavor to go with. You can turn it into any flavor with the essential ingredients.

Chocolate one day, strawberry/banana the next. Etc...

I have used ON gold standard most of my times.

I drink (maybe) one shake a day. Usually pre or post workout for the purpose of quick digestion and absorption. Otherwise, whole foods for me.
