'Steroid-free' Arlindo de Souza has massive biceps
He does, however, use a bizarre combination of injections

However, Arlindo de Souza’s biceps aren’t the result of copious amounts of steroids, either, according to his friends and family.
The 43-year-old Brazilian muscle man, whose 29-inch pipes are among the biggest in the world, injects mineral oil and alcohol into his arms – a dangerous process that can lead to death.
“Each time I took it I wanted more. For me there wasn’t a limit,” he told Barcroft TV. “If I get ill, I don’t know, if my arm bursts, I will go to the doctor and get an operation.”
Unless it's too late.
De Souza says his friend, Paulinho, passed away after using the deadly muscle inflammatory.
“You load the syringe, put it in your arm, apply it and it swells you up right there and then.
“(Paulinho) went beyond the limit.”

It’s a growing trend among Brazilian bodybuilders, who can reportedly purchase the mixture in rogue pharmacies across the South American country.
De Souza told Barcroft he has since stopped using the injection, but has “the desire to start using it again.”
