A nice point of view but will never be the majority. Not in my lifetime.

Reason and logic win every time against the steroid hysteria.

That guy is the biggest BSer I've seen on Ted talks. About the 11 mark he starts implying that roixs don't give an edge to the competitive user, says that since a Pregnant woman out swam him in a race then testosterone alone won't make a winner, says that all athletes are different anyway so the steroids don't really matter because I'm ever on even playing field to begin with it's cetera etcetera I could only listened about 2 minutes of that period

Had he been prmoting the idea of a competition class that allowed drugs, etc that would have been different.

But to.suggest that an athlete doing steroids doesn't have an advantage over one that doesn't is ridiculous

That is not what he implied, what he said is that steroids or hormones “Alone” are not what determines who is better at a sport.
And yes you can suggest that an athlete doing steroids doesn’t have an advantage over one that doesn’t use steroids. I love playing soccer and it doesn’t matter how much steroids I take, I will never play like Ronaldinho, and I am almost positive that he has never used steroids and you can say the same about 95% of professional players, they will never play like Messi or CR7 even if you put them in the best steroid cycle available.
You can use the same analogy in any sport, you should know that by being on a bodybuilding forum, juicing yourself to death will never make you look like any of the top 100 bodybuilders in the world.
