A little background on what I'm trying to accomplish here... I was an athlete in high school and college, then landed a desk job and lost my way a bit. Depressed, fat, lazy. Allow me to apologize in advance, not pretty, but here's day one, at 265. It's bad, don't look...

I warned you..

Gym membership, TONS of research on diet, and a major lifestyle overhaul later, and I was dropping 3 pounds a week, but losing ground on maintaining muscle mass. I decided to take lifting to the next level, and hired a trainer. Around this time going to the gym became something of an obsession. Making the change from copying what other guys at the gym were doing to having a structured, focused plan of attack, and correcting form problems made all the difference. And here we are today, about a year later...

I actually ended up 15 pounds more lean mass than I had anticipated, at around 7%, 218. Life is good.
So now, enough of this cutting nonsense, it's time to GROW!

My goals for this cycle are to gain as much mass as possible, while maintaining a reasonable level of body fat. Keeping it simple, and looking for solid, maintainable, clean and lean gains.

Cycle is set up as follows.

Test-E @ 250mg Every 3 Days for 13 weeks
DBol @ 40mg Every Day for first 4 weeks
Adex @ .5mg Every Day for duration of Test, plus one week
Nolva for PCT / Side flareups as needed
HCG to bridge last week of Test into PCT

The Supply:

Ordered though PSL, and so far has been a good experience, great communication, quick turn around after collecting funds. I had some difficulty with Western Union, and had to switch to MoneyGram mid order. They were understanding, thanked me for the update, and took care of it on their end. Next thing I know they are responding with a tracking number. I'm currently wearing out the USPS website clicking "refresh" to check on my pack's progress. Can't say enough good things about these guys, and can't wait to try out their products.

The gym schedule:

I like to split cardio and lifting. I do fasted cardio in the morning before work, then head back for weight work after. Makes for lots of laundry, but it works for me. I will be on the following schedule:

Day 1 - Chest
Day 2 - Back
Day 3 - Abs / Calves
Day 4 - Arms
Day 5 - Legs
Day 6 - Shoulders
Day 7 - Light Cardio

I'll fill out the details in the first week, and note any major changes through the process.

Thanks guys... I appreciate you following along, and any advice you can lend along the way.

I'm trying to decide what route to take on the D-bol... I have 150 10mg pills en route. Options would be 1. Use it as a kickstart to the test, 40/day, for 5 weeks, or 2. Knock it down to 20mg per day and use it to augment the test for 11 weeks, then add in something at the end to go out with a bang? Deca Maybe?

HCG to bridge last week of Test into PCT ( i usually keep HCG all they way thru cycle to maintain testicular function) but this is a very controversial subject.

This^^ Ideally, pin your hcg the day before pinning test and continue to run it up to 3 days prior to starting pct.

Thanks Mr. Kent! Actually it's nice, quite a few people have lost weight, changed eating habits, and are more active based on seeing what I have done, and asking for my help. Even managed to get the vending machine at work to stock healthy options. However... People don't like to hear what it ACTUALLY takes. "You go to the gym HOW MANY times a day?" "You eat WHAT for lunch?" takes some work to find a good balance of job, family, diet and exercise, and very few people are willing to put in that work.

Using this time to second guess my Test-E / Dbol cycle. I think I want to throw in another compound towards the end, Mast or Primo, just to have a strong finish and maybe harden up some going into PCT.

Mast p maybe. Mast e I would run longer for sure. I think 300 is a bit on the low side. 600 is my sweet spot

So..

Test-E at 600 a week
D-Bol @ 40 / day for first 4 weeks
and Mast-e at 600 for the duration.

Should be a hell of a ride :)

I've got Adex, and (thanks to your suggestion) will be running HCG weekly.

Perfect hcg 250 iu 2xew and Adex at .25 mg eod is a good starting point

Seems like a great idea to me! If anyone wants some help setting something like this up, let me know. I'm happy to help. I've got an overly-complicated one I use for weight / body fat tracking too.

Pack has reached the mainland! Reconsidering adding Mast... If the rest is nearly here I can't see waiting another week or so for delivery. PSL has been great, and I want to keep one source for the whole run. They have earned some loyalty! Saving Mast for round two. Think it may be a better move to keep my first cycle simple and easy.

You can share google docs (if you have a gmail account), used to use it all of the time, I think its called "Google Drive" now. They have an "excel" type work sheet in there, as well as a "Word" doc. You can post the link and share it... and can tweak the settings so that no one tinkers around or changes your info.

Pack made it through customs lighting fast, and is inbound from New York. I will have it in hand this week, sooner than I had planned on. Got my first round of groceries today... Man its going to take some adjustments to go from cut diet to feeding a cycle. It's been over a year since I've consumed more than 3000 calories in one day. Chicken population is going to take a serious beating these next few months!

Man its going to take some adjustments to go from cut diet to feeding a cycle. It's been over a year since I've consumed more than 3000 calories in one day. Chicken population is going to take a serious beating these next few months!

Lol I was thinking today how nice it was gonna be to watch my checking account balance climb when I shift over to a cutting diet!

"discreet" is not the word... More like stealth. PSL has it down to a science! There is a reason it cleared customs in an hour. Lol. Shooting some gear porn first thing tomorrow morning, then first pin, Day One of training. Let's get this party started!

First pin(s) today. Into left delt with a 28g 1/2inch slin pin. Smooth as butter, literally couldn't even feel it. Pumped in another one because it was so much fun. So I'm all front-loaded and ready to go. Popped a couple D-bols and we are officially on cycle! Woo Hoo!

This morning weighed in at 218.5. If we can get to 240 by the end of 12 weeks, and settle out at 235 I will be ecstatic. My goal here is to keep everything clean, keep water and fat under control, and make some good lean gains.

Pec Dec / alternating medicine ball push-ups 4x failure

I'm warmed up pretty good by then, and luckily never had any injuries there. However, with the extremely massive amounts of weights I'm about to be throwing around, it could be a concern. :a010: HA!

Day one of diet is rough... 4 meals in, and I feel like I'm ready to pop. I just hit my previous (maintenance level) daily intake and I have 2 more meals to go. Lets hope the juice sparks some appetite, or I'm going to be forcing it down soon.

I've seen your pictures of weight stacks Animal... like having a Mack Truck in each hand! If I was asking my shoulders to handle that kind of load they wouldn't last through 3 exercises either. Luckily I am a mere mortal and they cooperate.

Make sure you get your rear delts and upper back going on back and shoulder day to balance out your newly massive pecs and front delts and you should be fine!

Regarding eating....stay on schedule and after a week or two your body will start wanting to be on schedule and you'll find yourself getting hungry right when it's time to eat!

Cardio this morning went well, seemed like my heartrate was up a bit... same resistance and tempo, but BPM was up about 10 beats from normal. Also getting slight "hot flashes" about 10 minutes after knocking back the d-bols. Suppose that means something is working!

Today is Abs and Calves!

Superset: (x4)
Windsheild wipers X 20
Weighted knee raises X 12

Superset (x4)
Cable crunches
Center x 12
Olique x 12 each side

Low Cable crunch (on the big ball thing they keep by the yoga mats)
4 sets till failure

Cable machine twists
at shoulder level 4 x 12
High to low 4 x 12

*If there is anything left in the tank*
weighted incline crunches

Calves
high reps, lower weight
(x6)
Toes straight 20
Toes in 20
Toes out 20

All I know is if you get the timing right, you get to walk into the yoga room during their class. (excuse me ladies...) It is for this reason "big ball thing" sets sometimes get done first!

Evening work out was great. Heart rate and body continues to run hot, sweaty on ab day is not normally my thing. Great pump on the calves though!

I was running maybe 10-15 beats higher than normal....seemed to go down after a few weeks. But not a bad idea to keep an eye on that and your blood pressure.

Still going back and forth on the mast e... If I start it on the last week of Dbol as the effects are dying down, I'll have a 8 - 9 week run. Should give a nice kick on the back end of the test.

Awesome workout tonight. One of those days where all the weights feel a little bit lighter. Finished up old school with what I've only ever heard called submarines... Grab the Smith machine, closed grip, leaning forward slightly... duck your head under the bar, and press your tris to push yourself back standing upright. Lower the bar each set till you fall on your face.

Woke up this morning actually looking forward to pin number 2... I've been reading that some guys heat their oils to lower the viscosity, help the flow through the pin, and make injection easier. EP test is already super smooth, but I tried it any way. Dunked it in a warm water bath for a few. Only a small change in the speed of the injection, but I couldn't feel anything at all. I think I would rather have some sensation than none, just as a reassurance everything is going to plan. Noticed an increase in appetite last night. Hit me like a train. Out for date night, finished my plate of salmon, spinach, and wild rice and actually ordered another. Then met friends out for drinks (I had water) and ate again... Big ol salad with extra grilled chicken. No longer worried about getting the calories in. Now worried about my grocery bill, and refrigerator storage capacity.

Leg press pyramid of pain
(Increase weight after each set, the decrease on the way back down) 50/40/30/20/10/20/30/40/50 reps. As you work through, start with feet high and wide on the plate, move them every 10 reps, low and together, middle wide, etc. I find each position works a different area, and gives a nice whole leg noodle effect upon completion.
*calf Presses between every set x10
Leg curls 4x12
Leg extensions 4x12
Wild card... May force myself to do lunges, or goblet squats, or wall sits, or some other nonsense as a finishing exercise, since the "what are you training" thread has me inspired to dig deep and mix it up a little.

Legs and lower back are dead today, but hauled my ass to the gym for cardio. Loosened everything up pretty good, but only a temporary fix. Tightened up on the drive home and had a very hard time getting out of the car.

Rough night, legs and lower back absolutely killing me, every time I rolled over they hurt like hell and woke me up. Girlfriend was sick, up all night coughing and digging around for nyquil, dog decided to join the fun and puked up dinner at the foot of the bed... Great way to start off the week. Anyways, made it into the gym and got cardio in. Pretty determined not to let fat gain creep up while adding in all these extra calories. Despite my attempts to wait for Wednesday for my weekly weigh in, I peeked this morning. Up a bit, which I suppose is good and bad, I'm assuming first two weeks it's almost all water weight from the DBol, so I'm making note of it, anticipating losing it after my last pills at the end of December. I'm hoping my addition Mast-e this week will help keep the water retention down and PCT losses to a minimum.

Behind the head military press 4x12 (this felt strong last week, so I'm going to up the weight today and see how that goes.)

Cable Rear Delt fly x12
Face Pull x12

DB lateral raises x12
ez bar upright row x12
ez bar front raises x12

Shrugs - I do these on the smith machine, 12 front, 12 back, add a plate, etc. then back down.

*finishing exercise - not sure what you call them, but wedge a straight bar into a corner, load up a couple 45s, (just like you would a t-bar row) move from one shoulder, up over your head, to the other, keeping the bar as far from your ears as possible. great for your core as well.

Another good morning of cardio, heart rate has settled down, and I'm just about back to normal on then intensity levels which is nice. It was a bit annoying to have to back off the resistance and not work up a sweat in the morning. Energy levels are through the roof, feeling awesome. Pin #3 was this morning. I'm getting good at this delt injection thing. Quick, easy, painless. Not sure what kind of oils PSL is using, but this Test-e is super light, making these teeny tiny "slin pins" an option. We shall see what the Mast-e looks like. Should be here today. Weight is creeping up, official numbers tomorrow, but it's looking to be around 5-6 pounds gain. Midsection is looking a little on the puffy side with the D-bol water retention. Hopefully the Mast will knock that down a bit in the next couple weeks. Starting to get the urge to up the cardio to get that ab definition back, even though I know it will only slow me down in the long run. I think I'm ok with it now, but if I still resemble a water balloon a week after coming off the D-Bol, I see a hard one week cut in my future.

Agreed, and both are strong, but in order to keep form I find my lower back carries some of the load, and is a weak point. My thinking was to train it from a kinder, gentler angle to start to bring it up to speed. I hope to change this up to something that better isolates those muscles in 3 weeks when I transition to lower weight, higher reps. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Weighted hypers? Bend at the waist instead of at the hips ( which would hit your glutes more)... Motion should be like rolling up and down, the opposite of a crunch motion. Should feel your lower back working there.

Official weigh in was this morning, after one week of Test-E @ 625 / week and D-Bol @ 40mg / day.

222.6! Up from 218.5 day one. 4 Lbs of (I'm guessing) mostly water retention. I'm hoping for a post PCT lean mass gain of 1.5 pounds a week or 18 pounds, so I think I'm on track to make that happen. Diet has been solid, gym time has been at 100%. Overall I feel amazing, great energy, solid reps on the weights. Cardio is feeling good, able to push and stay in the fat burn zone without my heart rate acting up.
Now that I've been through a full week of the workouts, I will back off the daily posts and check in only when I change something, or have something significant to report.
Thanks to all you guys for following along and giving advice. Much appreciated my brothers!

I'm REALLY liking this Mast-e. Makes me feel absolutely great. Attitude, energy, sex drive. Been doing some more reading up on the compound, and have decided to extend it past the end of the Test cycle and into PCT. My thinking is that since it acts as an AI, it should not mess with anything going on in PCT, and will help any estrogen rebound after the test runs it course. The drying effect should be keeping water retention, and Post losses to a minimum. Also found that a lot of guys have found a "re-comp" effect on it too, so fat loss muscle gain, no net change in weight. Should I happen to be carrying a few extra pounds at the end of the cycle, I would rather have something to help retain muscle if I decide to hammer out some cardio and tighten back up in PCT and recovery stage (and keep those shoulders!). Having a blast, already noticing changes. Can't wait to see where I'm at when it's all said and done.

Having no first hand experience with P, I can't say. According to the interwebs, the difference is (like the different flavors of test) in the ester length, therefor P will have a much shorter half life and will need to be pinned more often, otherwise it's the same base compound, and should behave in the same way.
**Vets, please correct me here if I'm off base here**
However it seems like some people respond better to different ester lengths, just depends on how your body takes to it.

I opted for the E, as I'm running long ester Test as well, and it works for my injection schedule. I front-loaded both, took about a week for me to notice the Test kick in, but the Mast hit me on day two.

There are pros and cons to both. Long esters have a longer active and half life but less pinning. Short esters have to be pinned more often. Short esters often will raise hematocrit level faster as well.

No need to mess with tren till your closer to maxing out your gains from other compounds. Tren is amazing for some but a nightmare for others

I went with tbol on my first cycle for the same reason. Tho everyone says your ai should cut the bloat....not what you're finding?

The idea is just to kick start your cycle with it. If you are gaining to much water lower the dose. You are running an ai right?

I like the kick start, don't get me wrong! Not sure if it's too much, but it's some. Up 4 pounds week one, looking like maybe another 6 this week. Assuming record breaking muscle growth of 1.5 - 2 pounds a week, I'm still holding six (ish) pounds of extra water? I am running adex at .25 eod. And 600mg / week Mast, which is supposed to me a mild ai as well. Still looking lean, so I'm OK with it for now, just not looking forward to watching the scale drop when I come off.

You might need to bump it to .5 eod and see if that helps. Dbol is very well known to cause water retention

Hard to say for sure but 2 lbs each week would be some serious gains. I try to gain 5-7 lbs each cycle but my nutrition is super clean :)

I'm on the clean diet plan as well. I leave the food scale in the drawer, but I have a real good understanding of the diet, and how my body responds to it. Do you think 15 pounds retained lean mass is too ambitious a goal for my first rodeo? I suppose everyone is different, but that doesn't seem to be out of the realm of possibility based on first-time logs I've dug up? I suppose only time will tell!

If this is your first cycle you might be able to do that but 10 is probably on the safe side

Never would have thought of that! Suppose it makes sense, as it will get your levels there faster. I suppose it depends on where I end up, if my next cycle is a cut, or a bulk. I still like the idea of an oral (or short 6 week run of injectable perhaps) to kick things off, but will go with TBol or Var depending on what direction I need to be headed.

Running test prop you could kick start the first 4 weeks and run it the last 3 so you could start your pct 3 days from the last pin rather then waiting 14 days for the ester to clear

Oh, I like that idea! Makes perfect sense. Dio hooked me up with some Prop 100 as a freebie with my Mast order. I am going to run it the last three weeks for sure. Ok, rest of my order is placed, and we are all stocked up to finish this cycle out strong! Grabbed the rest of the Mast to take me through 14 weeks, and a little test-p to fill out the last 3 weeks of my new jump start PCT plan. Now all that's left is a bunch of lifting and eating!

Week 9-12 Test-P @ ???mg ??? (Haven't got to that yet)
Week 2-16 Mast-E @ 200mg EOD
Week 1-13 Adex @ .5 tab EOD
Week 1-13 HCG @ 250 mcg E3D

Upping the dose on the Adex to .5 EOD is having an effect already. Feels like bp is dropping, and I was up pissing all night. Down 2 pounds as of this morning. Bloat around my stomach is noticeably down. Going to keep Adex here until we finish up with D-bol, then re-evaluate. Looking forward to tomorrow's weigh in, will probably be in the 230 neighborhood. Looking pretty lean still, and definitely growing some mass in my chest, which has been a hard area for me to build in the past. Finding a few new veins making an appearance as well! Overall really happy with progress. Will post actual weight, and maybe a progress pic tomorrow.

Chest day today. Recovery time between sets is quick, and finished out full 12 on last sets where I usually am racked at 8-9. Good strong day.

Still 8 pounds in weeks is a bit more than I would like. Planning on losing 6 of it in PCT, unless the Mast can dry me out in the next 12 weeks.

Estrogen and water seem like a fragile balance for me, I think recently losing all the fat weight has my body still trying to find equilibrium. I've got Adex running now, and yes, it seems to be working quickly. Extra sodium from Turkey day might have been a contributor as well. Either way, hopefully that's behind me and we can focus on more important things... like lifting up heavy things and then putting them back down.

Start of week 3, Still going strong. Noticeable changes in shoulders, chest, and quads. Girlfriend is ecstatic... keeps talking about how I'm growing, feeling my arms and shoulders. Nice to know it's not all placebo effect and wishful thinking in the mirror. Been doing a fair bit of cardio, 5-6 mile hikes on the weekends, bumped the morning fasted cardio up by 15 mins. Mostly because I'm not used to eating like I am. Weight continues to climb, so I will continue pushing the cardio until I even out, then back off to fuel muscle growth. Waist is staying constant, using the belt loop method. Everything else feels like it's firming up. I've got another 3 weeks of D-bol left, and I'm looking forward to shedding more water and looking nice and lean when I dry out. Legs are showing improved muscle definition, arms are veins on top of veins. Really happy with the way things are going so far. Feels like Test may be coming on, face has been oily, couple zits showed up overnight. Otherwise no sides, other than feeling great all the time, having tons of energy. I wake up ready to go, and am sleeping like a rock. Life is good!
