First Download uTorrent or BitTorrent...either is fine as they are both the same thing. I prefer uTorrent for no reason other than I like the way it looks. After downloaded and installed, there are no mods needed to perform on the software like their was in the old days of torrenting. Its beefed up right out of the gate.

You can download uTorrent or BitTorrent at either of these sites...

http://www.utorrent.com/

http://www.bittorrent.com/

Next, find a torrent listing site and search for what you want. For movies, you can simply click on "movies", then click on the "S" on the right side of the screen (S stands for seeders) to find the most recent and uploaded movies with the most seeders (makes downloading faster). My favorite site for this and has been for years outside of the now defunct pirate bay is Isohunt. Follow this link to the site...

http://isohunt.to/

When you click a movie for download and uTorrent pops up on your screen, un-click all the boxes on the right that are not the actual video (pics, notes, etc. hint, the biggest file is what you want to keep, unclick the rest). Next hit the "Advanced" button on the bottom left of the uTorrent window. You will get a quick pop-up showing you the selected trackers for the file your downloading. Hit the delete button or use your backspace button thereby trashing the list, then click "OK". Following these steps keep people from tracking exactly what you download...the only thing the cable company can track is how much bandwidth your using...the rest is speculation on their part. For all you know, people are just downloading stuff using your "unsecured wifi".

Then download your movie. Make sure you completely remove the file from the seeder list in uTorrent when the download is finished. When its done, watch and enjoy.

The end...but not quite.

If your media player fails to play what you downloaded, as all files are different, you can download a program called VLC Player that plays any media format here (and its free)...

Also, if you want to burn them to DVD easily without any hassle, you can always download ConvertXtoDVD from isohunt...just do a search for a recent copy and use as instructed; here is one...

The end

Remember, do your own due diligence.

All instructions in this post are hypothetical and have never been done by me. This is just a fictional first person story and may or may not work. I am not responsible if you fuck up your computer by downloading stupid shit. ;)

Love you brothers

Great guide for torrent. I am sure TPB will be back.

Demonoid just recently opened back up, but is not accepting new members at this time.

kickass.to is a great one as well. It helps to know and understand the file extensions your looking for as well. This will help in finding the correct file type for your selected home media player, and help you recognize any potentially malicious software.
