Ive been pretty fortunate, ive never broke a bone (well except my nose a few times but that doesn't count) and I've had very few injuries that have held me back. Last Thursday I rolled my freaking ankle going down my stairs. Im not letting this one keep me down either. Going back to the gym today, its usually leg day for me but I guess ill have to skip it this week.
Anyways I thought I'd share my healing process. Most of the time you will hear your doc use the acronym R.I.C.E. rest. Ice. Compression. Elevate.
As for me I follow this for maybe the first 24hrs depending on how bad my sprain is. In this case pretty bad. Cant put any pressure on it. After the first 24 I start rehab right away. Doing movements like writing the ABC's upper and lower case and up and down like pressing a gas peddle. Second I got easy on the ice. I believe that swelling is a part of the healing process and by removing it with ice and ibuprofen you are prolonging the injury. So I use them in moderation. I do however use compression and elevation to keep swelling down. The biggest thing is to keep your ankle strong and dont let it stiffen up.

Hope you heal quickly and yes try not to put much weight on it. I have had enough injuries to know that you use ice in moderation.

Holy shit, just saw the pic! If it was me, I would not workout and keep elevated.

Nasty looking shit bro---sorry to see that. Are you doing any peps or IGF? Might be a great time to run a cycle especially TB-500 & igf1-LR3. Compare you recoup to past injuries and see if it doesn't jack you up quicker.

You know ive never tried any Peps or IGF before. Actually haven't really done much research. Have you had much experience with a cycle like that Tazzz? I did how ever have a question about injury and cycle. I started a dbol/test e and deca cycle and I am only on my second week. Should I drop it or keep going? I tried working out but being on crutches and not being able to apply any pressure to it makes working out a bitch. Ive been using resistance bands and light dumbbells at home but feel very limited on what I can do. Also found out yesterday that I fractured my heal along with tearing ligaments and straining my Achilles.

I have been using TB-500. Did a loading phase and now on maintenance. Elbows and shoulder are much better--almost totally pain free. I am also 4+ months into HGH and am cycling IGF1-L3. I know the LR3 is going to work fast on injuries--its part of what ot does. The LR3 portion of the IGF1 gives it a system life of between 20-27 hours. I pin 80mcg/day pre workout and it has also made a big difference. There are some great threads on here especially by JJB1 on peptides and how they speed up healing. Not a big investment if you can cut recover time in half.
Your call on the juice. 2 weeks isn't enough to have to go PCT and you don't want to waste juice so its kind of a personnel call.
