View Full Version : Just for shits and grins, I pinned 100mg test cup with a 29g spin pin.

To my surprise, it was easier than a 25g or 23g 3ml syringe.

I used a 29g .5ml slin pin and it was way easier. I have pretty lean legs (I hit the quad), so I'm sure I hit muscle. It is kinda hard to tell really. Such a small gauge needle, I didn't really get the same flex/or feeling when it hit the fiber. A ton easier though.

I did it to test out the slin pins, because I want to go that route with the TNE I've got on the way. I just may dimple the skin a bit more from here on out.

I need to try slin pins so that I do not get to much scar tissue. I can hit my tri's, delt's and maybe my quads. When I use bigger needles in my quads it swells and is sore for a few days, maybe the slin pins will be better.

Brother I been preaching this for years. Less scar tissue you just have to back load that slin pin

I got 20 of them at Walmart for about $2.70.

How in the world are you guys pushing the gear through anything less than a 25ga? I have even tried 25 and my fiance has the toughest time pushing the plunger. We just stick with 23 now.

I'm Gonna chalk it up to physics. Smaller diameter needle to syrings. It just works. I wouldn't say it if I hadn't done it. The 25g on a 3ml syringe was hard as hell, but the 29g .5ml was too easy. No pip yet either. You've gotta be pretty lean to hit meat though.

Yeah, the smaller surface area being pushed with a .5cc syringe must be the reason. Only bad thing is I think they only come in 1/2" long needles and you should never push the needle all the way in for obvious reasons, so you may only be going in about 3/8". I don't think that's enough for glute pins even if you were 3% bf. Lol Also will have to pin multiple times just to get your dosages for the day.

I have been doing this for years and it works.
I warm the oil to make it easier.
I have also experimented long term with subQ AAS use this works as well I just pin more often (slower absorption) but I'm always on.
But I do generally use 25g 1" for both uses.

I use 29 gauge 1/2 slin pin. Zero issues.
