It's so hard to not go to gym. I train for about an hour I do about 30second breaks except on legs and deadlifts

you can train everyday if you want to the trick is not training the same muscle groups... However I have discovered that I personally benefit more from taking time off. It is really hard to do this but lately I have been training a day then taking a day off. Really gives my body time to heal... Just set your mind to it. Train really hard once on training day then rest a day and GROW!!!!!

On cycle i try to get 6 days in. I know a guy that swears by training one day on one off and he competes says that has given him them most size. Rest is very important for growth

I try to get minimum of 5 days and try for 6 if I have time. I'm at the gym for average of 2 to 3 hours

I do 5 days EW when in. Rest is still important cause you don't grow in the gym and your cns needs to recover as well

Max I spend in the gym is an hour and a half. Never really understood the need to stay at the gym 2+ hours. Your body starts to go into a catabolic state after too long of a workout. Im in and I'm out. I see some dudes barely breaking a sweat spending 5mins between sets, getting up to look at those pumped muscles for another good 5mins then it's time to hit the next set..

on cycle I do 5 to 6 days
off cycle I do 5 days

like everyone else said you grow out of the gym not in it

i try and get 6 days schedule permitting. i find its good to aim for 6 because if you have any type of demanding job you will probably only end up at 5 lol.

As long as you are eating enough and getting enough sleep, takeing care of your body in general. I think on cycle you can train 6 days a week as hard as you want. I've never been to the point of over training and i kill myself in the gym.

my training was 6 days a week, 2x ew bodypart split
now im doing one muscle group per day bodypart split, im still growing and getting stronger this way and training is exciting again.

feels like im resting more ontop of my day off as im not doing bodyparts 2x a week.

Yeah 6days hear also I hit back/chest/shoulders then repeat. I also do arms same fashion bi one day tri the next for all 6 days so I hit bi and tri 3 times a week ... And twice a month I swap out something with legs usually on a Sunday it takes about 3hrs.... Yes legs only twice a month I had to let my upper body catch up but 6 days no doubt

1&1/2 hr. I have 5 teens so after school is busy. I get up at 4 eat then have per workout. And am I gym at 5am I work at 7am so I walk out the door 6:30 I move super fast so I can get 20/30min on treadmill. On the weekend and leg days I slow down and take good rest between sets

I agree 100% brotha. I train 7 days a week now for 6 weeks straight and then take a couple weeks training instinctive 5 or 6 times a week. As long as you are eating right and getting rest you are good to go

5 days a week, Mon - quick 60 minute volume workout, Tues - Bench training for powerlifting, then accessory work after Wed - Squat training for powerlifting, accoessroy work after Thurs - quick 60 minute volume workout Friday - rest, Saturday - Deadlift training for powerlifting, then accessory work, Sunday - rest.

When I was lighter, not trying to drop a few lbs, I would only train my three lifts on three separte days during the week. I got stronger with the added rest, but I also started adding too much fat. I have to do my volume workouts now during the week with minimal rest as my "cardio", keep the heart rate up, and work on recomping.
