To all the US boys. How are the steroid laws in the US? Are they classified the same as Cocaine/Heroin in every state?
From what I understand the laws really vary in the US going from state to state.
Do some states take it more seriously then others?

Here in OZ 3 states have so far reclassified steroids and made offenses selling them the same as cocaine/meth.

Testosterone is schedule III, it is federal FDA scheduling so states don't really have a say. They may prosecute you with felony drug distribution but it would still be a schedule III substance. States cannot reclassify drugs, with the recent exception of marijuana being decriminalized. Heroin alone carries a more serious sentence than cocaine in the US, so I don't think you can compare gear to coke to heroin. Schedule III is what it is, still a controlled substance and a drug felony on your record. That is just as bad as coke or meth from the point of view of passing a background check. First time offender would almost surely get probation for coke or steroids, so it doesn't really matter. Only difference is you don't do 25 years for trafficking gear.

hard to pass a background check, and could very easily lose your professional license......
