With the ever looming possibility of being scammed by new sponsors I feel it is necessary to make a thread for people to post all their tips, tricks, and ways to spot a scammer. BOP does everything it can to prevent this from happening and we have an amazing track record of keeping this trash out, but it is always a possibility everywhere you go.
This is basically a guide for new sponsors and what to look out for.
We will start with a few basics and we will add to this when more comes up. This will help everyone here to make the right decision with new sponsors and to let us know if you don't feel something is right.
Please post any advice or tips you have below and keep the information coming. This is very important for all of us.
Information (http://brotherhoodofpain.com) - THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. Information is key in keeping you and others safe. If you place an order post in the sponsors forum that you placed an order and post once it lands. This way we can all keep track of who is falling behind and not keeping up with their responsibility as a sponsor. Who knows this same thing may be happening to several other people and we can find out more once we know about it and stop it from progressing. KEEP THE INFORMATION FLOWING!
Post When You Order (http://brotherhoodofpain.com) - As above we can keep track that you ordered and when it lands if you let us know.
Time Of Arrival\Post When It Lands (http://brotherhoodofpain.com) - As the above posts this keeps us all in the loop and informed. Sometimes packs take a little longer than normal due to delays that the sponsor can not control, but if you post about it and we see there are several other people with the same problem then we know there is an issue and can address the issue. If a new sponsor comes on and is already having delays the post it immediately. You should not start off as a new sponsor with any delays.
Multiple Incorrect Orders (http://brotherhoodofpain.com) - Sometimes this happens. Even with the most seasoned sponsor this issue can happen, but if this is a new sponsor we need to know and if it is happening to several members that is something that needs to be addressed immediately. If you post we can see who all it is happening to and take care of it.
Insane blends (http://brotherhoodofpain.com) - If a sponsor has some crazy blends that you have never seen or heard of before then it is most likely a scam. There are companies around the world that make products in factories with teams of chemists that don't have blends with 5-6 different chemicals in them and if they haven't perfected them then the chances of a new sponsor coming on with some outrageous cocktail of 700mg of 7 different chemicals is not likely.
(http://brotherhoodofpain.com)Order Delays and Excuses (http://brotherhoodofpain.com) - If you keep getting the run around keep us informed. If you order domestic and the new sponsor can not deliver within 7 days we need to know why. Please post and let us know. As above there may be several going through the same thing.
Now this is VERY important. If a new sponsor tells you his wife, kid, or any relative is sick or has just passed away notify us IMMEDIATELY! Do not fall for this bullshit. They are trying to make you look like the bad guy if you don't show compassion and give them more time so they can scam more people. Insensitive as it may sound this is not yours or our problem. If they have time to keep their banner up, take orders, and collect money then they have time to ship products. We have seen this before. The sponsor told people his kid passed away or his wife and while the person who ordered sits and waits patiently he is telling this same thing to another dozen people while he still has time to collect the money, but not ship anything and by the time we find out it is to late and he has scammed several people. Any reputable sponsor would contact the staff and have their banner taken down until things are OK.
No Stock or Waiting On Inventory (http://brotherhoodofpain.com) - Now this happens from time to time with veteran sponsors so again this is for new sponsors. If a new sponsor comes on board then they should have taken every precaution they could have to stock enough product to come on board strong by being stocked up and ready to ship products in a timely manner. If it is out of stock or they are waiting on raws to complete an order and they have been here a week then they shouldn't have put that product or products on their list. If this happens to you you need to post immediately because that sponsor knew they didn't have it when you placed the order and you sent the money.
The bottom line we keep trying to preach here is if you want to be safe and keep from being scammed keep the information flowing. Don't be scared to post when you order and when it lands you are only helping everyone here out.
