If you've been living under a rock, read this and then come back: Ex-UFC champ Jon Jones avoids jail time, gets probation following hit-and-run | MMAjunkie (http://mmajunkie.com/2015/09/ex-ufc-champ-jon-jones-avoids-jail-time-gets-probation-following-hit-and-run)

So it looks like we'll be seeing Jones back in the cage sooner rather than later. With the exception of his public service duty, there are no restrictions on his ability to fight. Just don't look directly at the bulge in Dana White's pants. Jones has some soul searching to do, again. Will he go looking for it at the bottom of a giant bag of yayo? Will he come back to re-claim his throne and and then move on to embarrass the heavyweight division?

What say you????

You think he would embarrass the heavyweights ?
Thats a bold statement .
I think he is better than some , but dominate heavyweights like he did light heavyweights I doubt .
I wish he would lose a couple fights and eat some humble pie .
Really don't care if he smokes weed but drinking and driving crosses my line .
Leaving the scene shows his character .

Most weight divisions jump up in weight, Lt.heavyweight is 205,Heavyweight starts at 235,that's a 30lb jump in weight for jones. It would be easier to go down to middle @ 185 . Jones against Weldman would be a good one. Jones got 18 months to straighten his shit out. One fuck up and he can kiss his MMA ass good bye. He will be fighting Bubba for the bottom bunk.

Weidman would be a great match up, but I think Heavy weight is anything above 205 up to 265... Weidman would have to go up in weight which is possible... I think I read that Jones walks around at 220 and cuts to 205 to fight... So jumping to heavy wight is not a stretch... The heavy weigh division is not the strongest right now either! Their just bigger... But slower! I remember Randy Couture as the heavy weight champ and he was small for the division!

Must be nice to be a celeb, no jail time, if that were any of us we would have been in jail from day one... He's a cocky asshole now a days, he deserves some jail time and hope he gets his ass kicked in his next fight...

Heavyweight??? I'm thinking with the power of the heavyweights he will get what he deserves, destroyed!!!

DWBO you are right he needs some humble pie, I used to like Jon Jones, now I can't stand him, for that reason he is not humble...

Jones walks around at 235 and cuts to 205 Anderson Sylva walks around at 230 and used to cut to 185. I really wanted to see Anderson and jones back before Anderson lost to Weidman

I will settle for Jon Jones vs Roy Nelson .
How does that sound ?
I know he lost his last fight but Jon should have to work is way up the food chain .
A young Frank Mir would be a nice match up .

Please name someone that is mid level heavy that will humble him !!
:)

Hmm I think Jr. Dosontos has been in a slump. There would be a good fight

Jon Jones has cleared out the light heavyweight ranks. He's all but done there. He'll take his title back from Cormier and move on to heavyweight. It's the only place for him to go. I do think he's going to have a harder time in that division than most people think. Popular opinion, even among fighters, is that Jones could be champ there. I doubt it, though.

He'll have success (the heavy weight division is super shallow, remember) but the bigger boys will give him problems for sure...

To answer the OPs question i think JJ is a very lucky man indeed to get what he got for what he did. i hope he realizes this and makes the most of it.
