What do you guys wear to the gym, far as foot wear?

Depends for me, I have a home gym, and a membership.. To the gym I wear my cushion kicks, Nike - revolution 2 , If I'm doing wheels I'll toss on my Chuck Taylor's.. At home same thing, at times I'll squat in socks, but the chucks give me a sense of relief that I won't stub a toe.

Some aesthetic training guys I know swear by them. For what they're attended for they seem like they would do well (on paper at least)!

I normally wear work boots but occasionally when I squat or dead lift I'll wear a pair of tennis shoes with a flat bottom similar to chucks.

Usually just a good cross trainer.

I'm a strange one but sandals. I pretty much live in them anyways. When I deadlift or squat I slip them off and go barefoot.

There is definitely a learning curve, particularly in putting them on as there is a definite technique to it. It took me a couple of days to get used to the feeling of them between my toes, but I now own 3 pairs of them.

Old style Chucks for me, too. I have a pair of the new type with the extra cushioning and support, but I don't train in those.

The training shoes seem the best for me might be because they have such good arch support

Various pairs of Nike running shoes for me. Except when I'm actually running....then it's Saucony shoes from one of those running-specific stores that analyzes your gait patterns and stuff.

Whatever I'm wearing, I usually take off shoes for heavy deadlifts or leg presses (don't squat much, but used to do that without shoes too).

chucks all day, its the only kick I can wear for legs its the absolute flattest I can get and my lifts are up by 10% easily, I dont wanna wear out my wrestling shoes I'll save those for the mat (not that I been on it anytime recently)

That's generally how I roll. Which is why I like sandals in the gym because it's easy to get barefoot when I need too.

I'd like to try the five fingers. Comfy, functional?
