Man arrested for smuggling steroids

Not long after a 35-year-old man landed in Larnaca airport on Friday, he was heading to jail after Customs officers found performance enhancing drugs in his luggage.
The man, who is from Moldova, arrived around 8pm and was selected for secondary inspection due to his having a number of multipack cigarettes.
Authorities were astonished to find a total of 48 testosterone ampules and 30 packs each holding 30 pills.
The man is appearing before a Larnaca District Court on Saturday, where it is expected he will be remanded in order for police authorities to investigate.

Cyprus is the third largest and third most populous island in the Mediterranean, and a member state of the European Union. It is located south of Turkey, west of Syria and Lebanon, northwest of Israel and the Gaza Strip, north of Egypt and east of Greece.
