I know this thread is a little dated, but to those who may not know, the body only processes maybe 20% of the raw egg whites that are consumed because of an enzyme. But if they are pasteurized, the body will utilize 100% of the egg whites.

I drink a similar shake like this every morning for breakfast. In a ninja blender I mix 1c oatmeal, 1c egg whites from a carton, 2 scoops protein powder, 3c water, and one banana.

I mix one close to this. Milk, eggs, oats, banana, peanut butter, almonds.

ya know i read something similar to rutmans egg knowledge, i read that without consuming the yolk...the whites do not synthesize as protein. it was interesting and im forgetting half of it...imo the yolks arent going to put any "fat" on u...its a golden package of food, the most nutritious food there is 2nd only to breast milk....but splitting it in two and throwing half out...hmmm. ive always eaten the whole egg....consume about 5-7 a day. and no, they dont raise your cholesterol.

40g WPI + 40g maltodextrin
thats about 90% of the industries bulk protein powders right there. add in some creatine and you've got celltech for 1/5th of the cost.

Costco has pasteurized egg whites. 50G per carton and it has 6 for $7. I drink mine most of the time.

I buy the blue cartons from Costco. Each one is 10 egg whites. Drink one a day in shake with pb and chocolate protein for part of my breakfast. Taste great
