I wrote a post the other day asking for feedback from anyone who’s used clomid as a treatment for low-T and mentioned I’d add a post for the reason my test was in the double digits to begin with (29nl/dl).
The only thing I was taking at the time was Ostarine by Thanos Labs. Each capsule is 15mg and I was taking 4 per day, so 60mg/day. I was about ¾ through with the bottle when I started feeling awful, so I immediately stopped and waited to feel better, but after a couple weeks of not improving I started to worry that it was something else making me feel badly, so went to the doctor.
My personal moral to this story is that every individual reacts differently to the myriad of supplements available and listening to your body and bloodwork, even if taking things as seemingly innocuous as SARMS.
A side note – I tried to go back and do more research on Thanos Labs and find reviews of others experience with their ostarine, but found Thanos Labs had gone out of business. I don’t know if they had issues with their formula, but did find this fact a little suspicious, considering the fact that ostarine is a legal and lucrative supplement at the moment.
Another issue I had with SARMS that dovetails nicely into this story is my experience with LGD4033. I was taking this daily at 10mg and after a week or so decided I was not responding, so after watching a video where a guy was giving bro lecture on this substance I raised my dosage to the dose he said he was taking which was 100 mg every day and quickly learned what an idiot I can be. An hour or two after I got to work I started feeling light headed and flush and out of nowhere my nose began to bleed. I didn’t panic at that moment because it’s not uncommon to get nosebleeds from the single digit humidity in the area I live. After literally 30 minutes of packing my nose and bleeding out in the bathroom I got nervous and summoned paramedics. Long story short my blood pressure was through the roof and I had busted a blood vessel in my nose and had to have it cauterized in the emergency room.
I post these events in hopes to point out that even though SARMS are a great place to put a little mass on and get some fat off they have to be respected as much as anything available. These days I give every supplement the same care and respect that I give DNP.
