Lower level of BA works OK ?

Benzyl alcohol is used as a bacteriostatic preservative ,without BA ,it's almost impossible to keep the oil in sterile .However ,too much BA would make it painful to inject ,and may also cause post inject soreness.

One client told us he feel so pain when injecting test prop ,and he is thinking if he could lower the BA ratio ,maybe to 1% ,would that work OK ? He has used test E ,but feel no pain.

Any opinion is welcome.

Try with 100mg or 75 at 1℅ and shouldn't crash if does add more

Some guys are just more sensitive to pinning. But yes lower BA is possible in comparison to a lot of the brewing guides online. I believe I used around 1% BA in my last test brew, but I use longer esters.

Well being that were talking BA it shouldnt really effect the suspension much if at all. Its there for sterility and at 2% really shouldnt be affecting the pain caused by an injection so long as the BB isnt too high as well. Its a balancing act between the two... ive had prop that kills and then ive had some that is smooth as silk. Just gotta find a good ratio BA/BB to acheive that

One percent is fine for bacteriostatic purposes but the pain from an injection probably has nothing to do with the ba content unless it is ridiculously high. Impure raws or high concentration are more likely to blame. Also like others have said some people just get more pain than others.

Ba at 1% is fine and has nothing to do with keeping your final product in solution. 2% is OK as well, but going over 2% is just overkill. Back in the day 5% was the standard and I believe at this point your causing pip from the ba. Big pharma uses less than 1%. Ba is only used for sterility, nothing more.

I have brewed test prop at 150 mg/ml using 2% BA with absolutely zero PIP.

I hear pharma gear are at .7% to .9% ba so 1% is ideal but wouldn't go over 2

1-1.5% BA is fine... more than 2% is deff overkill
