With Steph down, Blake out, and CP3 sidelined, has the west just parted like the Red Sea for the Spurs?

They are probably making sure to let Steph rest up for the SA series. I think GS is good enough without him to still beat any team besides SA

I think they can handle Portland without Steph, and if your MVP and get some R&R with some healing, let him. The last thing opponents want to see is a well rested, healthy all-star. As for the Spurs, if they make light work of the Thunder, they might get some rest themselves.

Agreed no problem with Portland. SA looked good lets see how they look tonight. Pop is playing a different lineup then the reg season. He is crafty and I didn't think he was playing all his cards in the reg season

Pop is a puppet master, I think he knows exactly what he's doing. I didn't think Leonard and Aldridge would be leading the charge. Btw, terrible call the other night. I hate when refs swallow the whistle.

What a difference a few weeks in the playoffs makes

Agreed. The Thunder have really stepped up, but can they finish? Westbrook is ridiculous. Who the hell can move that fast and stop on a dime? I thought he was gonna go splat against the backboard on a dunk the other night, lol. I love his game. The buzz in the sports world was no one would want to see a Thunder/Raptors finals. Screw that, I'd tune in for every game.

Lol thanks . Yeah I really thought GS would just roll through . But okc has their number. Seems like it's that same scenario where the Giants beat the pats in the super bowl. I think Westbrook got pissed when curry won mvp and made up his mind he was gonna shut him down. And he did. THey are beating that whole team down. Crazy how much a players mental state effects their play. Seems like every team is badass when they are truly dialed in. Then they just take a mental vacation and stink up the joint. Who knows

Yeah I'm actually not surprised that OKC is winning the series. They have always had the talent just not utilized it the right way. As far as Westbrook dude is a fuckin beast! A lot of talk about him being the "best athlete" in the NBA, and NFL. Look at how many knee operations he's had and still has mad hops, quickness, and explosivness!

I've been telling people for months that Curry is NOT the best player in the league, he's the best offensive player. How can you be the best player in the NBA and not play defense? Averaging 2 steals a game does not make you a defensive player. Westbrook recognizes this and blows by the guy to hoop whenever he's in the mood. That said, the best defender against Westbrook is ummm, Westbrook, lol. Erratic, turnovers, etc. The guy shoots himself in the foot at times.

Westbrook's speed is scary. I actually think he is the best athlete in the NBA, and to me that means, I could place him in another sport or two and he'd play at a high level. I've only seen a few guys like that though, LeBron is one and Steve Smith (NFL WR of the Panthers and Ravens) is another. Some may argue that the college hoop players turned NFL tight ends is another.

Yeah I agree on westbrook. I can't stand the guy just Cuz he looks weird to me lol. But he's a friggin monster . I've never seen anything like him . But I never seen anything like curry either. The stuff he's done the past few years is nuts. I think curry is about to become the most hated and take LeBrons place. Just seems like it always happens . Once someone becomes the man, then everyone wants to see the man fall. Only one who's ever really been immune to it was Jordan. But I think that was because he was unbeatable. It's damn good entertainment though.

I don't think there is a chance in hell GS wins game 6 in okc, but if they do, I think it'd be the final stamp of validation for that team. But on planet earth, I think okc will go all the way . But I damn sure didn't see it coming. Like was said, all the sudden they figured it out and now they look unstoppable. I don't think the cavs would stand a chance against them. Okc going thru San Antonio, golden state , THEN LeBron... that would be insane ! But then again, what the hell do we know? Lolol

Agreed I think OKC wins game 6 and Cleveland will close tonight. Imagine if Westbrook develops a fade away jump shot like Jordan did!

I was thinking the same thing. He's already got his 'to the rim' game. He develops a solid jumper , especially from 3, dude would truly be unguardable.

Watching him play makes me tired. The motor that guy has incredible. And I like his idgaf attitude.

Agree. Same surprise for me.
But from where I am sitting it looks like he wants that ring and it became obvious he is not getting one in Oklahoma. Warriors now have a scary team but lets see what happens. Always was keen on underdogs. Lets see what new season will bring.
