Let me make one thing clear, by no means am I trying to convince anyone here or push anything on anyone, just sharing something here on BOP:
Have you ever wondered what God meant when he said "Let us make man in our image?" What is the image of God? Here is a thought I would like to share with you:
In Exodus God took Moses up and showed him a pattern, and gave him specific instructions about this pattern and told him to build it on earth and that pattern is known as the Tabernacle of Moses right?
So Moses built this tabernacle and God would come and visit in a certain place in this tabernacle, the Holy of Holies, some call it the most holy place.
If you look at this layout of this it has 3 areas, rooms or what I call dimensions.
Outer Court, inner court, holy place, the priest one time a year would go into this tabernacle for the sins of the people, and behind the veil, God himself would visit right?
Over in Hebrews the writer tells of a tabernacle made without hands right, ever thought what that is?
Ever thought it was you? Man is made of 3 parts: He has a body, has a soul, and he is a spirit.....ummmmmm there that 3 is again.
Body,soul,spirit - outer,inner,holy place
Could you be the very tabernacle God is wanting to take His residence in?
Just a thought to leave you with, and there is more to come later.
Man is the only Triune being, meaning we are made of 3 parts: We are a spirit, we have a soul, and we live in a body.
My next post I may explain more on the word soul, what is it? Is it good? bad? Or what?
Thanks for reading.
