Gregory Allen Baker and four others were arrested after a two-year federal investigation that started in 2014 with an anonymous tip, court documents say.
Baker is accused of importing raw materials to manufacture steroids, human growth hormone and other illegal drugs.

Investigators believe that Baker used his personal training business as a front for the steroid operation, which supplied drugs to bodybuilders and semi-professional athletes under the name “Axio Labs,” the order said.
When the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency started its investigation into Baker, agents immediately noticed that it appeared the man was living well above his means.

Baker’s postal carrier told investigators that he received packages from China on nearly a daily basis.
When Baker’s home was raided in February, agents reported finding multiple firearms, luxury cars and a $12,500 electric golf cart.
Even after the warrants were served on his home, Baker, who had hired an attorney, continued to import materials to produce steroids, officials said.

He allegedly used surrogates to send Western Union payments to pay for the steroids and received payments for the drugs through his girlfriend’s PayPal account, investigators said.

The situation with Baker’s steroid business was getting out of hand, the anonymous source told officials.

The document did not say if the “Ashley” referenced by the tipster was the same as Ashley Hinson, 27, one of Baker’s alleged co-conspirators.
As he was facing numerous serious charges that could result in up to 140 years in federal prison, prosecutors argued Baker was a flight risk and the judge in the case ordered him held without bond.

All five were charged with conspiracy to import controlled substances, conspiracy to manufacture, distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute human growth hormone, conspiracy to commit money laundering, and international transportation of monetary instruments.

Wow. My heart goes out to that man and his family. Once again our federal government is destroying families and people's lives over stupid shit like this. A 2 year investigation and a ton of money wasted on it when they could be putting those funds towards actual criminals who hurt people or import dangerous and addictive drugs like cocaine and heroin.

Who knows...coulda been sending them to a different residence and thought he was safe. Or it could have been shipments already on their way...

Either way...we all know this is just fucking ridiculous. They treat it as if steroids were so god damn bad...2 year investigation...as if this guy was a fuckin serial rapist or some shit. Cmon get the fuck outta here....

It's all due to the fact that they can't put their tax on Anabolics. That's why they remain illegal. I've never seen an individual rob a liquor store to buy steroids.

Where's the stockpiled arsenal? Ive owned that many guns. Makes for a salacious headline I guess.

It took them 2 yrs to investigate this guy?? Really, we have Mexican drug cartels moving metric tons of heron/yayo/meth into this country every week. The possibility of a terrorist attack. And this is what our local and federal law officals are using there resources on. Too bad they weren't investigating the mass shooter that shot all those people in the Jacksonville nightclub.

Think about how many people are in prison, who's lives are ruined, over possessing/dealing/distributing marijuana. A drug that is now legal in 20 states (My aunt who is 70 was just given edible weed in the hospital for cancer). All those man hrs. that went into busting them, impounding all belongings. Its become a business.

Seriously in Florida, with pill mills and gang violence this is seriously where tax payers money is being spent, you can go kill and rape and get less time, I have a complete problem with Floridas judicial system, my ex can ran to Florida with my child broke another state's court order and I can't get any help, keep in mind my son step Father is a convicted dealer or roffies, which carries a mandatory minimum, but yet the man did no time, and I know why, but this just pisses me off reading,

I don't think it put any more emphasis on GH ...and GH is only illegal to distribute or possess with the intent to distribute. It's not illegal to posses it for personal use.

HGH - DEA Info-sheet (https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbrotherhoodofpain%2Eco m%2Fshowthread%2Ephp%3Ft%3D30818&share_tid=30818&share_fid=33492&share_type=t)

If people knew how to act or hide their money better they'd get in far less trouble. It's the same thing with these hood rat ghetto dealers, these 16yr old drop outs that don't work yet drive a brand new Maserati or whatever flashy new whip, rock a $10k Rolex and a grill full of iced teefsis.
Attracting attention to oneself is a surefire way to get pinched. It's hard to justify having a half million dollar crib on a personal trainer unless you're training the Hollywood bigwigs.

Hmmm I thought Axio was done a long time ago.

This guy piggy backed on the Axio name. The real assholes behind original Axio got busted and were not in the U.S. They did have resellers in the U.S. but they got busted also a few years back.

Once again another idiot conducting person to person sales through the back door of his own legit business. Reminds me of the smoothie shop guy running gear through the back door of his shop.
