I am starting this log as a follow up to my contest prep log in 2016 for Masters Physique. My goal this year is to hit the stage at 200lbs in Classic Physique, which will require a full 15lbs of muscle over the 185lbs last year.
I have currently been bulking for about a month and am up 23lbs at the moment. My plan is to hit about 230lbs within these 12-13 weeks before going into my pre-comp prep work.
Ive typically stuck to a high volume training model, however during this bulk ive lowered my overall set and rep count while increasing actual weight. Ive also brought on a coach and dietician for the season and am truly focused on this upcoming season.

Im currently running the following protocol
NPP
SUST
PRIMO
EQ

I will be adding in a couple of other compounds in the upcoming weeks.

Thanks for reading and I appreciate the support!

Last night was a light ab day which was a nice change of pace as I really hadnt snuck in a simple ab workout in a few weeks.
Flat weighted toe touches x 18lbs
20 20 20 20 20

Medicine Ball Oblique Wall Toss
20 20 20 20 20/20 20 20 20 20

Cable Rope Crunch
5x200x20

Flat Bench Reverse Crunch w/Fly
20 20 20 20 20

Legs tonight and im already thinking about that new 800lb PR on the angled leg press. Recently as ive been down this bulk road, I have been focused more on weight volume than rep volume.
Thats the trade off for having to tuck the abs away for a few months!
