Good morning guys! The bagel I had yesterday was very tasty, twists, thank you!

I did Angie earlier (for time: 100 pull ups, 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, 100 squats). I finished in 23'20"28. I was smoked. My right knee is really sore. I have physio tomorrow. I will take the week-end off because I work 7 days again this week.

After Angie I did a 1,5 mile walk and a 3 mile bike ride.

I tried some of those spider curls on arm day. Wow. Got a great pump. Really works the peak. Have a great Saturday. Even if you have to work. Me too! 1 pm till 12 am or so.

I was really tired yesterday, I had a good night sleep (I have to thank Ambien for thaf) and felt refreshed this morning.

I played 1:15 hour of tennis this morning. My friend Amy is back from a 2 months vacation in China and we had a lot of fun even if we didn't play well lol. My knee is very sore. I hope that the injects will help.

Hey MG. Just checkin in on your progress. I tried a few over the counter sleep aids and made me feel hung over when I woke up. Never tried ambien but I've heard good things about it. Since I started on hgh my sleep has been really nice. I used to wake up every two to three hours, now I get at least 5 or 6 before I start randomly waking up. Lol you ladies have fun at the court and who cares how good you do as long as you are having fun right? I have a blast golfing and man do I suck at it. Lol have a great day!

Good morning guys! I never tried golf but my tennis partner Amy used to play in China. I didn't sleep well last night, I woke up around 1am and had to take half a sleeping pill to fall asleep again.

i had a busy week-end. Yesterday I went up and down the stairs 20 times with my bullet proof vest on, that was kinda workout in itself believe me.

Cross fit today

4 min of push ups (112)
2 min of pull ups (62)
2 min of weighted crunches (86)
2 min of squats (102)

I'm playing tennis at 4pm.

Glad you got some sleep jtip. I keep waking up around 1:30-2am lately (I go to bed around 8:30pm). It sucks.

Thank you for the bagels twists. I love my carbs (too much for my own good).

Hey mg. Hope that knee gets to feeling better. I started a run of tb500 a few weeks ago. My knee and shoulder have been feeling better but not sure if it is the tb500 or the extra rest I gave my body. I'm going to keep running it at least a few months to see if I feel any changes, if I notice any big changes I will definitely report back to you. It could be something that you might want to give a try. Take care.

I played 1:15 hour of tennis at 4pm. I needed to relax after a visit at the cardiologist. Good news is that my heart is healthy, he says that I have a very healthy lifestyle: no alcohol, no smoking, no bad fats since I'm a vegetarian, low cholesterol, regular exercise. E CG, stress test and ultrasound came back normal.

Tomorrow I have the 2nd inject of hyaluronic acid in the knee. I will take it easy until Friday. No leg work but I might do Angie or Barbara revisited.

My knee was OK but my back wasn't. I'm thinking of skipping the gym tomorrow since my tennis partner wants us to play again at 4pm.

I barely slept last night, I tossed and turned and got up with bad sciatica pain. Work sucked. I played 1:30 hour of tennis this afternoon, stretched well afterwards but I can barely walk. I work all week-end and won't hit the gym until Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks guys. I have been in pain for days now (sciatica). I can barely walk. I just got back from physio. He says I have a slipped disc. He worked in it and I have another session on Thursday. I worked all week-end and didn't hit the gym and feel guilty. Oh and it looks like I have a bout of arthritis or a tendonitis of the right hand/thumb. I cannot even shake someone's hand right. What a mess :(

Sorry to hear that MG. Hang in there we all know you are as tough as they come. You will be back in the gym in no time, I always feel guilty as well if I miss more than three days of working out. Get some rest and ease back into it.

Good morning guys! Still in pain, I had physio again this morning at 7 but all he does is massage the area and put pressure on the trigger points. As soon as I'm at work the pain is back. Doc says at I need to keep moving and that's what I do.

I did a short chest and back workout earlier.

Yesterday's workout was 1 hour of tennis.

I took it easy today: Fasted cardio : 40 min arm bicycle when I got up (I wasn't allowed to eat because of the bloodwork at 8am). I'm in pain again (right back pain). I might take half a pill of acetaminophen/Tramadol later tonight.

I took yesterday off and played an 1:30 hour of tennis this morning.

I will hit the gym tomorrow, play tennis on Tuesday and then take a few days off while on a city trip. I need to give my body a break. Now that the sciatica is history, my right hand is so sore that I cannot squeeze a tennis ball or hold anything heavy (doc blames it on the tennis). Besides I have a rebout of tennis elbow (left elbow).

Thank you for the bagels, I need my carbs after cardio.

Good morning guys. A friend at another board who knows all the injuries that I have had for months told me that my body was trying to tell me something. His advice is to take a month off. This is gonna be tough because doc tells me to keep moving but I will still play tennis once or twice a week and do cardio (bike, swimming or walking). I won't post anything here though but I will check the board.

i told the gym owner that I was taking a month off from the weights (but that I might come back early for cardio).

I did a last upper body workout.

That month off may be just what you need. You been hard at it for a long time. Wish you all the luck. Have you thought about running some healing peptides? Tb500 has been working for me with my knees.

I haven't hit the gym but that doesn't mean that I didn't work out. I played tennis on Friday and today and did 2x30 min of cardio (Rotex) yesterday morning. The doc told me to keep moving.

Hey mg. Knee injuries suck. They seem to take forever to heal. It took me a whole week to get over this back injury that turns out was a kneck strain. Weird how that works. I did take a whole week off lifting ( feel like a lazy butt) but it did help me heal. This week I'm going to ease back in it.

Neck and back are related. I have so many aches and pains that it sucks. I'm not lifting weights but I'm addicted to cardio again. I rejoined my old gym and do cardio during my lunch break.

That right knee is a big mess. I have no meniscuses, the ACL and LCL were torn and never repaired but somehow the orthopedic surgeon thinks that I'm too young for a knee replacement which I didn't even consider because it takes far too long to recover from such a surgery and that I cannot take weeks off. I had hoped that the hyaluronic acid injections would help but they didn't this time.

15' of treadmill with a 10% incline during my lunch break (202 calories burned).
60' of tennis from 5 to 6pm.

Knee replacement might be what you need. Sounds scary though. I would think our bodies would just heal eventually but we don't really give it enough time. Who can afford to do that.

Today I did 20' cardio (treadmill) and I worked the abductors and adductors (3 sets of 10 reps 75lbs).

Good morning guys! TGIF indeed. My first week-end off in weeks. I intend to make the most of it :aerobics242:

I woke up at 4:30 am this morning and jumped on the Rotex for 30 min of fasted cardio before going to work.

During my lunch break I did 17' treadmill (15% incline, 7 km/h), 50 pull ups, 50 weighted dips, 3 sets of 10 reps abductors and adductors (75 lbs).

5 mile bike ride.
