Hi guys,

This is embarrassing but I'm going to be honest. I don't measure my food, I have no idea what ratios I'm getting every day. I find counting calories and measuring food on scales to be extremely boring and I just hate it to be honest. Yea I know, I'm super lazy with diet, I hate that part about me. I have a feeling this is really holding me back. I have a cushy office job so I cook my food daily in our office kitchen.

Here is my Monday - Friday food routine:

5am- wake up
5:15 - caffeine pills, MK-677 and BP medicine
5:45 - leave for work, chug a blender cup half full of egg whites, 1/4 whey protein, 1/4 raw oats
9am - brown rice or sweet potato + 3 chicken tenderloins (frozen Kroger brand) or cube steak
11am - brown rice or sweet potato + 3 chicken tenderloins (frozen Kroger brand) or cube steak
2pm - brown rice or sweet potato + 3 chicken tenderloins (frozen Kroger brand) or cube steak
4pm - brown rice or sweet potato + 3 chicken tenderloins (frozen Kroger brand) or cube steak
6pm - home from work, starving, sometimes I'll drink more egg whites with whey to hold me over and well make a healthy family dinner
9pm - another egg white and whey shake before bed usually

This is pretty darn accurate, I only eat a cheat meal 1-2x per week. I recently went from drinking too much alcohol to 1x per week rule (2 months in). Weekends are my huge gym days so I get up early and I'll do that Oat-egg white - whey combo 2-3x in a day + whatever meat we cook at the house. If we eat out on weekends I order from the 600 calorie menu and its always meat and low carb.

Can anyone recommend a fast and easy way for me to manage my calories and macros? I just honestly hate adding shit up every day it's so boring to me, I know it's the right thing to do but for me it's easier said than done. Just like my savings account and going to church every Sunday, I suck at certain things even though I want to do it.

It sounds like your diet is already pretty static. I have a meal prep rotation. I know if I eat 6oz of chicken breast with 8oz of peas 4 times a day with 6egg whites, 2 whole eggs in the morning, a half cup of oats with a scoop and a half of whey in the middle of the night, I will hit my macros and calories for the day. Next week it might be cod, peas and cottage cheese, etc. If you meal prep or eat the same thing multiple days you only have to figure out the calories and macros once.

I know how you feel man,
I feel the same way at times getting sick of measuring and counting.

I find just look in the mirror, if your body fat is up lower the carbs a bit and increase the fats just by looking at the portions.
If you wanna get bigger increase the portions etc.

You gotta play around with it and once you know your body you'll know what you need.

Right now are you looking to put on some size or get leaner?

So what are you asking exactly? You want to know what your Marcos are? You seem like you have it roughly measured pretty well, maybe not exactly to the ounce. But your close enough to calculate it yourself. Just look at your nutrition labels and add it up it shouldn't take that long

Thanks guys, yea I can't believe I never added it all up since its pretty static like you said. I honestly don't mind eating the same shit every day it doesn't bug me, my problem is I always doubt my program since I read a lot and everyone is always giving different advice. I guess that's why I never added it all up, I just assumed it was a shitty meal plan in the first place but since thats really all Im going to do food wise it would have to be good enough. I was just looking for a thumbs up from some experienced bros, just wanted to run it by you all. I've been eating like that for years now even when I'm not lifting. Ill make the small adjustments starting tomorrow based on the numbers I come up with. To answer the question, I would like to cut but I always end up bulking because Im always so damn hungry it never works out haha.

Being a little cut up without pec fat and nice clear defined abs year round would be amazing but I also don't wanna feel skinny. I hate that feeling. I think I have a fear of cutting. My plan is to try legit GH from a sponsor here soon, cut my carbs way down and add cardio then see how I look in the mirror week by week.

Sorry if my post sounded stupid, was just looking to see if everyone was gonna say I'm doing it all wrong or what.

You didn't sound stupid man. Your diet seems great. If you wanna cut, look at steadily decreasing your carbs while steadily increasing your cardio.

As far as gear goes, that's a different story, but it doesn't seem like that's what you're asking about in your post.

I'm about to try GH myself for the first time, however I'm bulking on it. Not sure how you'll do with hunger while taking gh at the same time but I know people use it to cut as well so if u tough it out it should work.

Good luck man

Hey brother counting calories I guess is good to know for you average joe shmo, we should really be more concerned with the macros.
Honestly the only way to keep track of your macros is to weigh and measure them. I think youre thinking it , it really takes a few mins if that to weigh everything. My carb sources 1 cup is 50g, I round up a few , 8 0z chicken is 42. After awhile you'll be able to eye ball the correct portions although I do recommend weighing and measuring.

If you wanted if you're eating the same foods everyday you could always just keep track by adding more or less , an extra tenderloin , more rice (however you're figuring out to eat just add more or less based on your goal and keep the way the same )

Easiest way to lose weight...skip/drop a meal for a bit and see how your body responds. If nothing happens drop another etc... If you're looking to gain add a meal and see how your body reacts. Your meals are relatively clean and consistent so it would be really simple for you. This will cause body changes without having to weigh everything out. Good luck bro!

Awesome! This is all great advice, much appreciated! I'll have to ask about GH when I'm ready but I have some learning to do. Do far it seems 2 IU in the AM and 2IU in the PM with my MK-677 may be a good start point (from logs I've been reading here). I'll start all that in a new thread soon as I order. This place is sick.

put this all into myfitnesspal and get an estimate. eat exactly the same as often you can and cut down on non protein if you aren't getting the scale / measurement changes you want.
