I just got my labs back. I haven't done a cycle of gear in 5-6 years. Had a back injury then, and subsequent surgery, which put me out for a while. I've been lifting consistently for about 2 years now natty. The 2 years prior to that, off and on (prob 5-6 months out of the year).

When I was on, I did it all wrong. I used AAS for about 2-3 years. During that time, I stayed on for too long and used weak PCT when I came off (about two weeks of clomid and a little HCG). Honestly, I think I'm lucky my test levels are still in-tact. The body is an amazing thing. I never used any anti-E on cycle and blew up like a balloon. I was strong, but left a lot of hard work on the table.

I'm 37, 6'3", and about 220lbs right now. All I've been doing in the gym is plateauing for a year. It's a terrible feeling - no gains. I keep going because I love it and it's great for my head. My body fat is probably around 15%, so I'm not lean. I was 225-230lbs at my best years ago and very lean. I looked and felt great. I get so beat up from going to the gym anymore. My joints ache and it takes so long to recover. I started lifting in my teens, so I'm worn down.

I bet I can get 10lbs of muscle from my next cycle if I work hard, considering I've been lifting consistently and have been off gear for so long.

I think less is more, and am considering about 400-500 of test E/wk for 12-14 weeks, coupled with an oral kicker for the first month. I love how Dbol makes me feel (strength, well being), but I want to control the bloat. I want to keep the gains and I need suggestions. I also want recovery for joints and cartilage so I can get a great split going.

This board is great. Very legit and good people. And I appreciate everyone's help.

Awesome you are getting back in the game after the back injury and surgery bro. Seems like anything with the back takes a while to mend. I think you are right on point with that straight test cycle this time around. Test E at 400 - 500/week along with your preferred oral kick start should work great for you. Since you have been natty for the past two years, your receptors are clear and I think you will be very pleased with how your body responds to that simple cycle.

To be honest, after all these years of trying many different compounds, my favorite cycles are test only with an oral kick start. Enjoy the ride bro! I am sure others will be along to offer feedback soon.

I have to agree after being off this long you should respond great to test only at about 500 mg ew

Thanks guys, I agree. Why blow out receptors with a shitload of gear if it's unnecessary. I'm happy with these labs. Might be able to put off trt for a while and run some clean cycles.

I miss it. Been too long. I work too hard, need to see gains man.

Mack I had an L4/L5 discectomy. Took a while. Had to check ego and focus on form, low weight. Build glutes/hams back up. Slow going. Posterior chain work is underrated for protecting the back I think. "Do core work" is all you hear from trainers. Weak glutes forced my back to work too hard on all sorts of lifts and I honestly think that was the culprit.

Anyway, appreciate you guys listening and letting me yap about it.
