I have been lifting with a combination of Hammer machines and free weights for a while now, and I really have started to notice that my right arm (dominant side) is significantly weaker than my left arm, even though they've been being worked with dumbells and machines that isolate left from right resistance. I can do a single arm tricep extension with 40 lbs with my left arm for 12 reps and still have gas in the tank, but same weight on the right and I'm shaking to get the 12th rep up.... what the hell am I doing to cause this, and how does one go about fixing it? I don't want to just lay off working one side until the other catches up. That seems like a waste.
