Female subjects performing 60 minutes of fasted non-glucose intensive activity burned an additional 100 calories of fat per day when compared to the same activity performed post-prandial.
100 calories sounds small, I know, but given that (especially in our context) many female intakes can get really low in a fat loss phase, and women burn less calories than men comparatively, those 100 calories per day can add up.
