Does anyone have any thoughts or first hand knowledge with regards to bioidentical hormones and the pellets some hrt doctors use instead of standard hrt treatments? Long story short.... I have bad low t. 24. My gp put me on 200 mg cyp every other week. I told him that would not be enough and he said he really doesnt know anything about testostrrone but wanted to try. Low and behold, 3 agonizing months later he checked my bloods and wouldn't you know it? i went up to 199. He decided that i should now do 200 mg every 10 days. I said again i need to dose higher but he told me he has never prescribed anyone higher than what he is prescribing me now and said i will have "all kinds of problems going higher than that". I started asking him about using hcg as well and the need to increase the dosage and keeping an eye on my bloods. Doc. Got irritated and ended my visit. So, Im going to do this myself, get bloods myself and use cyp, but i was curious about the pellets. Not sure what to think??? Sounds kinda hooey to me. Oh, and i have done probably 10 or so cycles over the past few years. So, yeah.... long story longer.

dont know much about pellets i think injections are best. im sure ur levels were 199 at your trough (right before next injection) if u have done multiple cycles id expect u to know that for TRT its best to inject ur dose twice a week. for 200mg every two weeks thats 50mg everyon sunday and thursday. or if u have another preferance. tell ur doctor to u want to split ur dose. retest. if not gooed enough provement that will be more evidence for a higher dose. most likely 300mg every 2 weeks. tops. split dose

started off 200mg shot every 2 weeks. do to estrogen conversion by day 3 i was super depressed. changed to 50mg twice a week. test level 900 free test 450 or so
