So lets get this log started.

Its been a very tough last 2 yrs. I have a torn labrum and impingement left shoulder and left scapula.

Recently, during the last month or 2 i have either tore my right labrum or rotator at work. Ive been going to physical therapy 3 days a week for the last couple weeks. Xrays are negative. Which we expected. Now waiting on a call for my mri! Therapist believes its my labrum due to instability.

Unfortunately, this would make 2 shoulders with labrum injuries and an impingement left scapula. Sleep sucks, and there is always pain. Constant pain is better than the shooting pain that occurs.

I m gonna document everything ! Therapy, pre-op, post -op recovery ,and everything in between. i am Starting with getting my broken ass back into shape! Ive been off any/all juice for a long long time.

I will be starting about 200-250mg of test weekly.

I will also be starting gh to help with healing and recovery! Right now i have 1 kit of g-tropin, and 2 kits of Puretropin. I will see if i can pick up a kit or 2 of eurotropin. I will be doing bloodwork on all the different kits, as well as what ever test I run.

I will be using kratom to help manage the pain, help with relaxation/sleep and for added focus and energy. I will also, use some peps to help with the healing process.

Tb-500 and some BPC-157. Of course these few will be for recovery. Anything i use will be documented and recorded in this log!

I will get more details up and also see what exactly i can do without further damaging myself. Haha.. Dont know if that is possible. (more damage). So, if anyone would like to follow feel free. Motivation is something that has been hard to come by lately.

I will update more in the morning with stats and gym time! Ive put off doing for myself and getting the help i needed for healing and recovery (surgery) in order to make sure others in my family received the proper help they needed. I need to start worrying about me and getting myself fixed up and healthy! Im miserable. Will update daily.

Today. Day 1

Woke up and right side of neck , and head were killing me. Right delt felt outta whack.

Took, 4gr of enhanced white. See what kinda relief and boost i will get.

Called my Physical therapist, appointment after work 8:30am. So we will waste some time and go to Physical therapy after work. Its much closer. Waiting for this mri is pissing me off. Very frustrated.

Tonight i will get in some run time and test my limits using bands to see where and what i can do while keeping the shoulder tight without allowing any slippage..
Working 11p-7a this week. Therapy at 8:30am 3 days this week.

Finished off 35 minutes of HIIT, and jogging combo. Did some stretching,
Weight in the 260's will jump on the scale today. See where we are so we can track this accurately. We are seriously gonna work to dropping about 40lbs within the next few months. See what we can get done before any surgery.

During therapy
First week:
Performed seated scapular retraction.
10reps/3 sets/hold 5sec/ 3x daily/5x weekly

Supine shoulder flexion AAROM with hands clasped.
10reps/3 sets/ 5 sec hold/ 3x daily/ 5x a week

Low trap setting at wall
10 reps/ 3 sets/ 5 sec hold/ 3 x daily/ 5x weekly
20minutes HEAT APPLIED. AT THE END OF EACH SESSION.

Had another set of papers, i cannot seem to find.oopsy..
Probable home. Will update with those.

They included band work.

Band
Elbow tucked in to my side, forearm extended infront of my body. Pulling the band across my body and forearm moving outward and back while elbow stays tucked into my side.
3 sets/ 20 reps/ 2-3 times daily .
Switch arms. And repeat.

High rows

3 sets/ 20 reps/ 2-3 times daily

This was awkward to say the least. They had me doing pushdowns/kickbacks.

I had to have them adjust the height of the bands . smh.

Pulldowns

20 reps/ 2 sets/ slow and careful. Didnt quite fully extend.

Large ball on the wall. (size of a medicine ball) but light weight. Place palm on center of ball and complete 20 small circles to the left then to the right. 2 sets.

Also, seated . a hand pedal bike.. Idk..
6 minutes. 3 minutes forward/ 3 minutes reverse.

20 minutes of heat.

3 sets x 15 reps. Pretty decent stretch.

Slow controlled, squeeze my shoulder blades together 3 second count , supinate grip when pulling back.

Biceps

Alt one arm curls

3 sets ×15

Supination curls

3 sets x 12

Concentration curls

3 sets x 12

Reverse curls

3 sets x 12

Wrist curls/reverse wrist curls(superset)

Done.

With your injuries, I would drop the weights to the point where you completely fatigue at 20-25 rep range. Focus on form. Movement need to be SLOWER, CONTROLLED, and as pain free as possible.

Tonight i will be doing some chest/back and the old abba dabbas.. Wanna get in 2 runs. At least 30 mins each between 12am-6am. I will be testing gtropin . and puretropin. Will start off with gtropin, gonna give it 3 weeks and have bloods done.

I will have to post pics via tapatalk. Dam they are always to big to post.

My sleep has been so horrible.
Also, my energy seems so low. I feel drained most of the time.

Spinach fettuccine in a spicy shrimp sauce
Also, have 2 protein drinks and 67.6 oz of water. I need more water for sure.
Also, tonights food isnt as protein dense.

Had some issues with my mri, have to have another one. IDK what the frig...

So yesterday wasnt as productive as i would have liked. Do to some issues at work.
But it didn't stop me from getting in a 40min HIIT session. And some stretching and PT exercises.

Today ive finished off almost 40min of HIIT, some quality stretching, 2am
We are going for high volume combo of full upper body.

Taking about 5gr of white/yellow kratom as a preworkout. Im dry mouth as hell. Energy, focus,clarity is up. But dam im thirsty.
Also, 3iu gtropin.

Sorry everyone im here. Been rough last two weeks. My 6yr old has been sick for a few weeks. Not really getting better. Than , the kids caught a bad stomach virus..shitting, throwing up.
Long story short things had gotten worse. He has fluid in his lung ,
Bronchial wall thickening, suggestive of reactive airway obstruction(disease).
Now my 4 yr old is beginning to sound bad also. Not sure what the hell is going on!!!

Last night i believe i hit about 4 miles.

Workout only consisted of shoulders. But was solid.

Overhead press 4 sets x 12,

alt arm swimmer press 4 sets x 12

Upright rows 4 sets x 12

Side lateral raises 4 sets x 12,12,10,10

rear flyes 4 sets x 15,15,12,12

front lateral raises 4 sets x 15,12,12,10

high rows 4 sets x 12

My left delt is a little sore today.

My calves are also.

About 3am I will hit bi/tri /forearm.

Finished off one mix of HIIT/jogging 27minutes.

Would like at least one more run before the night is out.

Just finished up a late workout.

I feel good but shaky. I know i pushed myself thru this workout didnt take it slow or easy. Im gonna be sore 2 days from now! Lmao.. I just blew up arms. Will update when i get home.

I did some stretching before and after running earlier and some abs after running.

Will do my ab workout when i get home. Hopefully i will get some solid sleep today.

Will have to take some red kratom .

Also i forgot to mention im using Recons Organisms for support supps. Right now.

Have to pick up a few other things. Waiting on tb500. Update after i get home and do abs.

Yea time off really sucks! Was dam 60degrees today and humid. Now its almost freezing. By tomorrow i think highs will only be in the 20's. 40-60 degree temp swing in only a few days. First from single digits up to 60 now back down to highs of 20's. Wonder why everyone is sick as hell!!

Last night was a pretty good night.

I was on 3-11 this week at work. Friday had to go in 7p-7a. Have to be back by 3pm today for 3-11shift. Then be back by morning for 7a-7p. Besides changing my schedule i had a good night.

Finished one HIIT/ jog combo for 45 minutes.

Also another 30 minutes of HIIT.

Every 4th lap i would do 25 pushup, 25 lunges, 25 knee ups.

Push ups. Changed from standard, to military, to diamonds, to declines.

Also finished off shoulders and stretching.

Delts included. Hopefully i will sleep well this morning. I have to be back in here by 3pm. Update later everyone.

Monday will be my 3rd pin of 250mg of test e.

Ok just made it home. Will do abs and hopefully i can get to bed by 9am. 5 hrs of sleep will work. Update in a bit if im up or after 3pm when i make it back to work.

After this recent battle i went through, my eyes have been opened to just how much i let myself use whatever was happening around me as a cruch or an excuse for the last 2 yrs. I never would of let anything screw up my training or mind set. I just focus and accomplished what i needed to do. I just did it. So it's time i got back to what i was known for. Grinding.. Always.

Some more food for the day.

Also jambalaya.about 2.5 lbs will last a few days.
A few pieces of Cajun fish.

Took a little longer than i thought to recover from pneumonia.

Ive been really struggling. Tired, dragging ass, still needing to use my inhaler.

Tonight 38 minutes down. 1 jog /hiit combo. Legs feel shaky as hell..
Water consumption is up. This is a good thing. Carbs have been pretty low. Tonight i could feel i needed some added carbs.

Will get in a shoulder workout./ maybe arms.
Been doing a variety of stuff throughout the night. Pushups-a few variations.
Oh presses, ab work, calf raises.

Gonna post up some food ive been eating.
Just found these little buggers. Great and quick and easy to eat on the go.
There are many flavors, depending what store you use carries different flavors.
Jalapeno is great. Only a light flavor and very slight spice. Dont be afraid to try this.
Thai chili is another good one.
Buffalo style is pretty dam good as well.
This has a little more tuna flavor to it and only a light hint of buffalo. But
15 protein, 70 cals, 0 carbs,0 sugar.
So if your looking for on the go snacks packed with protein low carb. This could be for you.

Ok just finished up. Feel like im gonna puke. Dam , been a long time since i felt like this. I moved through this workout at pretty fast pace. 30-45 seconds between sets. Involuntary shakes...suck..

Earlier finished off almost 40 minutes of a fasted combo of HIIT and jogging!!

Have an empty container of protein. Doesnt help things. Gonna make a spinach salad with chicken and some ground beef on top about 11am. Dressing will be a little salsa and hot sauce..

Had to have it reopened and now waiting to find out if i need to be reevaluated and/or another mri....

Ok been back from vacation. my 7yr old is Still healing up. Hopefully things continue to improve and his ear heals up and he regains some hearing back. Stress has been mental For sometime.

So for now on, I am going to focus extra attention on myself and get back to the basics and what i use to do best! Grind.. Nothing fancy, just hard work with 100%dedication.

It has honestly been along time since really pushing myself. Ive allowed a few people to dictate certain aspects of my life. I honestly havent been happy for some time. It's affected my life and my attitude in more ways than I would like to admit.

It's time to self improve and make some serious changes to myself and my Life !

Update shortly. Gym time.

I work 7a-3pm this week.

Long day. I will explain .
About a week ago we went to olive garden white marsh. My son had pieces of glass in his drink. And swallowed some before he released it wasnt ice. He Spit the rest out into my hand. I called the waitress over and ask for the mgr. Anyway, there was more glass in the bottom of my sons drink. We Had to take him for xrays.. The manager never come over or apologized at all. Then had us pay for the meal on top of everything.
We received a call from his pediatrician today to take him to the er. They see the glass Lodged in his stomach. so not sure whats going to happen.
The waitress was very concerned and polite.
The management at olive garden couldnt care less if my son was ok ir not. They Never even come to the table to speak with us. Didn't even offer us a discount or to pay for the meal.. Not like thats what we wanted or were trying to do. Just shows the mentality of these places today.

Lmk what he said man. The MRI isn't terrible, may could get improvement without surgery and some immobilization.

But obviously us high functioning guys and athletes etc can always opt for surgery too.

See this surgeon on the 12th. Being that this injury happened at work been kinda worried about doing anything at all..

Honestly, im looking and feeling like dog shit. Energy, and mental fatigue is the biggest problem. Gotta get my test levels back into a normal range. Im seriously hurting.
Low test is a real problem. I know many people who have it. I was border line about 5 yrs ago. In the mid 3's. Im sure my ph use contributed..and Then when i started Cycling. But it never really physically or mentally effected me. Well maybe the signs were there but with all the contest i would run for work , i had myself/ my mind and body into a routine every year. Then they stopped the contests a few yrs ago. Not sure why.?
Seems like when i hit 43 things had gotten a little harder. Im 45 now.
This last year especially has been hard.
Doesnt seem to make much of a difference how im eating. I just keep gaining weight!! Normal running/jogging doesnt seem to be cutting it anymore. Training isnt what it use to be because of 2 shoulder injuries, and dropping all forms of PED's mainly test seems to have really sent me on a downward spiral.
So, im gonna start back on test e. Twice a week. With some gh. And yes i will get my bloodwork done and post results.
Ive been holding off and holding off
Thinking it will be ok.. Just a little bit longer. But the time keeps dragging on and so did time for appointments and scheduling surgery.
So after speaking to a few people im convinced i should be fine to get back on test , and should of never come off!! Im confident i will be ok. Better than ok..
So i will start a new journey today and document all the details and little things i notice. Update in a bit.

For a while now I take 100mg/week of test and 150mg/week of deca when I am not blasting and it makes me feel like a younger man compared to when I'm on nothing. My energy is up and my joints don't hurt. I don't think I'll ever go back to natural.

This is about 3/4 of a coconut. Freshly sliced and diced up. A Great snack. Very filling.

Yes well lets make this more than food porn. Since ive been hurt logs havent been what they use to be.
Tonight i i did 30 minutes of jogging before all hell broke loose at work.
A motor burned up! Causing my office to smell horrible. Then a bucket elevators tracking is off. Shifted to one side and hitting the wall. Banging pretty badly. Had to shut it down. So i will be tied up for a little bit.

Do you Think it would be beneficial for healing and recovery if i run trt test dose, or maybe 250mg a week + gh ahead of time. ??

Fuck the GH.

It’s so expensive and slowly rewards. Gotta run that stuff for so freakin long to get real benefits. I don’t think it’s worth it...been there and done that. Would rather kept my money.

Stick to a TRT dose of test and some solid nutrition with lots of fruits and veggies and Whole Foods.

Ok been away a while.
Had my surgery friday 8th feb.
Been crazy since.
They Gave me a Nerve block before the surgery. Guided a needle into the nerve in my neck. It made it so i could not move or feel my right shoulder or arm at all. Felt very weird.
Repaired the labrum, rotator and reattached my bicep tendon. Who knew it was so much ....they did some other work as well but i dont remember the exact info..
Had some issues after with o2 until they could get my saturation level back up.
Then early Monday morning had a scare my leg ankle and foot swelled pretty bad. Had to rush to get sonogram. No clots thank goodness.
Everything is good. Not sure why my leg swelled so bad. Still have swelling but not as bad.
Im in a sling and an immobilizer. So that i dont move my arm /shoulder. This is my right arm so bare with me. Im right handed. Everything is much harder. Especially since my arm is stuck in this position with this block strapped around me and my sling is velcroed to the block and hands around my neck. sleep sucks, moving Sucks. Im in pain.(to be expected)
I see the doc within 2 weeks.
The plan.
I have a good stash of PSL tb500 that i will incorporate into my recovery. I will log my progress and details. Also will be getting some bpc157.

Everything is body weight only.(for now)
Twice a day i remove the sling/abductor and allow my arm to hang at my side and naturally stretch the bicep a little.
3 sets of curls(body weight) only moving from below the elbow.
3 sets of squats for now.
15 minutes Knee ups
3 sets of Lunges each way (6 sets total)15 reps eachway
30 min - steps
About 25 minutes of walking.
Sleep sucks bad. Cant sleep worth shit at night. Been nodding off 3-4hrs in the morning.
Been taking red bali caps for the pain. Helps a ton!
Still feel like im going crazy. Been stuck in this house a little over 2 weeks.. Torture... I cant get away from anyone....lmao
Seems most of my pain is after sleeping and some soreness after arm movement. Mainly the the upper bicep and at the shoulder where it was reattached.
Tomorrow i will call and set up P/T/rehab. Twice a week for 16 weeks

Feb 27th
Today just finished 38 minute walk on the treadmill.
Fluctuating speed between 2.5 and 3.5. There seems to be be some jerking/jaring of the shoulder above 3.5mph.
Incline between 1.0- 5.0. Changed speed and incline every 5 minutes.
Followed by arm curls.(body weight only). 3 sets between 6-8reps
Tomorrow begins therapy.
Took somw pre-workout before i began.
Its called stereotype. Definitely a good pre-workout .
I will do some other exercises this evening.

This was a stranger speaking to me out of the blue. About 1hr later another woman stopped me and asked what happened. I told her and she aslo had bad things to say about this place. She was a nurse who worked in ortho

A little better last 2 days. Taking very hot showers. I place rag over the shoulder while i shower creating constant moist heat. Allowing the shower water to hit my shoulder in different areas. Feels similar to ems. Then im able to get a better stretch and a better range on the upward curling motion. I had been stuck at about 2-3". I believe im almost half way on the curl now.
Tomorrow i go back to my original therapist office. So let see what they do and say. Will update from there hopefully with some pics of equipement and such. Appointment isn't until 3. I will do more cardio(lol) walking in the am. Gonna be going to 2 a days on the treadmill and hopefully gym in the am for legs .

Ok had therapy today.. Absolutely awesome. So glad i switched! Went thru everything... injury, how it happened, surgery, post op, even my last therapy appointment..
Did measurements on left arm for upward range of motion(fully curled position) and then again in a fully extended postion with my arm down at my side.
Today was great. I experienced some pain and tightness at first. Next thing i knew i was on my back laying on the table and i was being manipulated.
Seriously she was great. Extending the arm and increasing motion toward the front was surprising.
Then she worked the arm and extension/flexion toward the side. Painful at first then i could feel more of the stretch and almost no pain.
Then she worked on my neck and shoulder/delt . massaging and stretching the muscles... Felt amazing..

A Mile right now is about 18 minutes. Trying to increase this ed. By a little while increasing incline height.*

Sorry this was yesterday day 3. For Protocol purposes since that ia when i began the combo.
Finished off 25 minutes of treadmill before i was told it is to late, to much noise.etc.... Blah blah blah..
Did some squats and lunges..
I need to start driving. The sooner the better! Then i can hit the gym every dam night for cardio, or legs, stretching etc.

Some better overall function with my right arm.
I actually was able to use it eating my dinner . This makes me very happy and excited.
Arm is still deformed looking. Upper bicep is bigger(very swollen) and no lower bicep.
Ihave my appointment tomorrow for therapy. Im really looking forward to seeing how much mobility and range of motion ive improved since yesterday!...?????? And since starting this protocol. I feel this has really begun helping tremendously!
Used the cryo ice therapy. Tonight. Will be using this a few times a day to see if this will help with some of this swelling.
Off to take some red bali caps and hopefully off to bed. Update in the morning.
Also Had 1 scoop of some ON protein(flavor) cookies and cream.

Day 4 protocol 500mcg bpc157
Ok. Had therapy today. Added some exercises. I was a little stiff at first. A little sore but ..it didnt last long. My range of motion has increased so much in 3 days. My arm is almoat at full extension down at my side with very little bend. I was doing full straightening of the arm and stretching pulling/flexing the fingers backward. Then followed by flexing/stretching forearm .
Again...she had me laying on my back with my arm between her arms and hands keep arm fully extended and working on raising my arm to a 90 degree angle. Front of shoulder was painful. Not nearly like the first time. She would work on this amd massaging the shoulder and next thing i new...BAM my arm was gliding up and down freely almost pain free.. She was surprised. And made a comment about it how on only the second time my arm was gliding and moving very well.
We then proceeded to work the arm straight out to the side, in a fully extended position. Again I experienced some pain and tightness like a rubber band. She worked the shoulder and messaged the shoulder. After a few passes we were at 90 degrees. Straight out to the side was more painful. BUT nothing like the last time.

Day 7 protocol
Ok last few days had to lay off. Ended up going to the doc
After a few days of self medication. (Asthma). Nothing was working. Anyway had to get dreaded prednisone anew antibiotic. Seems to be helping so far.
Today was therapy.
Introduced Electric stimulation. Upper shoulder/clavical.
Created a shrugging motion/retraction. Lasted for 20minutes.
Also introduced a band version of a forward delt raise.
Hands were in front about 45-60degrees and pull downward so each hand come down to my side allowing the tension to pull my arms back to a forward position allowing a nice stretch (hold for 5 seconds)
Another new movement.
Lying on my back using my left arm,i hold this 2-3 foot 1" pvc pipe. At the top it is in The shape of a T. This ianwhat it looks like actually. The letter. (T.) So with my right hand i hold the top cross section. Now i use my right hand to push the T in an upward position across my body into the air while hold the top with my right hand.

Its like doing a forward delt raise laying on your back. The only difference is all the weight is on my left arm by pushing the T im holding the top stretching the shoulder a little further and holding it at the highest point with the most tension. I did this 20x.
Will be starting my protocol back tonight.
Getting on the treadmill now. Update more as i go.

Yesterday did the treadmill one time. Still hocking up a lot of phlegm and thick mucus! Come on the 27th. Hopefully i can get out of this sling. We will see.
Started incorporating some light band work on the left side.
Forward and side delt raise. 3 sets x 8
3 sets of hammer curls x 8
3 sets of supination curls x 8
3 sets of one arm shoulder press x8.
Everything is light but dont want to cause any unwanted stress on my right side from using the left. So im feeling things out as i go.
Sleep is still horrible. I dint get to sleep til about 5am or so.
Usually the best sleep i have is between 8-12am.
Today is day 8 protocol. 500mcg bpc157.
Definitely feelnas though it is helping a lot. Everytime i go to therapy they are very surprised how much better and smoother my range of motion has become with the protocol they have for me.
My hair seems to be growing faster my nails harder and longer. Looking Forward to see what the next few weeks have in store for me.
Will begin some stretching soon and update my daily plan.

Last few days have been very sore In one spot where there is an incision. Think ive been over doing it a bit. Although i feel like this is moving much slower than i originally anticipated. It hasnt been 5 weeks from surgery. Been going to therapy for about 2-3weeks total. and im doing great according to my therapist. Range of motion is well beyond what they would have expected. She did some added massage therapy.. Upper pec into the front head of the shoulder and down the bicep. Seemed to help but this swelling doesnt seem to want to subside at all. Just finished off 25minutes on the treadmill. Once earlier today for about 30minutes.
Im finally back to being able to breathe properly.
Tonight day 13 bpc157 only
Nails seem to grow much thicker and faster. As does my hair. Skin is feeling a little smoother. Wish there was something to do about this swelling.
Use of arm is still pretty much nothing.
I have therapy tomorrow. One week til i see my surgeon and see what the new plan will be or if nothing will change.
Feel like im going crazy. Having to rely on everyone and wait for someone to help with almost everythings plays with your head. Im getting bloodwork done this week.
Let see where my levels are at.
Ill be around now that im up and (not sick)feeling more like myself.
If ive never said this before. I hate prednisone!! The side effects are horrible. Avoid it if possible..

Sorry everyone. Things have been getting harder. Had to deal with and keep my medical/dental/ vision insurance from being canceled. Since ive been out of work i have to pay the premiums out of pocket. Other wise im dropped and would have to pick up cobra. So had to kick out around 450 for the first month.*
Saw my ortho. She said im doing ..well. That this is the hardest surgery she does to recover from. (Rotator with labral/bicep tenodesis. Ive only been in therapy about 3 weeks. 2 times a week. She compared where i am to 10 weeks along. The sling has come off.*
Since the 27th . since then dam im sore and hurting. Swelling is still there and makes things very awkward.
Firdt day out of the sling my arm felt like it was in the wrong position. Like it was sitting out of place. I was kinda worried. But i believe it is from the sleeves of my shirt and/or jacket twisting in the upper arm/ arm pit area. Feels like it pulls the arm outta socket and forward.*
Now i had been released to go to work if they can accommodate my conditions. I was upset with this.*
Conditions are desk work/sedentary. Able to perform basic ADL's(activities of daily living) such as feeding myself, brushing my teeth, trying to comb my hair. No repetitive reaching or extending. No reaching above chest level. No trying to reach behind me. or out to the side. No lifting above 1lb.*
Driving is still an issue. I cannot use my right arm so turning right is a problem. The seatbelt is a problem.*
This week i start more aggressive therapy now that im outta the sling. Im suppose to return to work on the 8th.*
But we will see if they can accommodate me. Lol..*
Im icing more often now that im outta the sling.
Starting isometeics. Therapy has been increased now to 3x a weeks for the next 8 weeks.*

Had some other issue's we are trying to deal with. Found out everything we have had in storage for the last 3 yrs is gonna have to be trashed. (All of our belongings from when we had to move) the unit ia infested with rodents. This is very upsetting. Much of this cannot be replaced. (Personal stuff memories)This unit was holding everything for a single family home.*

Thumb upward.

This isnt exactly what was done . i had some other stuff done to the rotator and socket ,But this will show you how they attach my bicep back down to the humerus bone and applied sutures. I dont believe this one shows how they pull out the tendon through the incision outside of the body and cut off what is being removed and attaching the stitching into the end of the tendon.

I was questioning why they had to do this bicep tenodesis?
This is nothing like what i remember from yrs ago when i had surgery on my left shoulder.
Come to find out. The reason is due to the tear being greater than 50%. I feel as if my arm is being twisted at the front of the shoulder/pec area. My bicep(right arm) seems to have disappeared. Everything feels awkwardly. Supposedly this is normal. Doing wrist curls and reverse wrist curls i feel it in my shoulder. (WHO KNEW?) I will begin posting daily again. Im a bit depressed. Having to go back to work monday really has my mind blown. Ive been out of the immobilizer+sling for about a week. I find myself still not sleeping. Sitting up seems to be the best position still.
According to therapy i am 3-4 weeks ahead of schedule.
Flexability and range of motion is great, which they say is the hardest part. Im upset i havent been cleared to jog yet. 3 months is when i will be able to cardio!!!
Update more later. Sorry again everyone. Kinda been feelingbdown and didnt wanna unload my depressing bull on everyone.
One thing is certain. I truly believe the bpc/tb500 combo is what has greatly helped with me being ahead in recovery and range of motion. Update more in a bit.

so things are moving along. Im very sore. Seems that this recovery is gonna take longer than anticipated to heal to the point i regain normal mobility. Been kinda agitated.
On a positive note. Had bloodwork done today for trt/hrt. Here is what was tested.

Will post results when i get them.
I drove for the first time today. Took myself to get my bloodwork.
These means i will begin hitting the gym for some legs and cardio. Still no jogging or bouncing.
This reattachment is so awkard. I have constant pain/soreness in the side of the delt. Throughout the day i have these shooting pains that kinda stop me in my tracks. I just close my eyes for a few moments and rub my shoulder. It comes in bunches. Then i continue on with whatever i am doing.
Here is some equipment from where i have therapy. This is called an anti gravity treadmill.. Cost 40k.

Never seen one until going here.
Therapy has increased and starting monday i will begin using bicep and tricep exercises.
Will see if i can get a printout of what is done. Actually let me go through some papers i may what we are going to focus on.

So here is where i am. Week 9.

This process has been slow. And surprisingly painful. I only say this because i handle pain very well. Although i question myself now.

Also, not sure if i just nit pickat every little thing i feel or experience, But i pay attention to every click, popping, or snapping sound.

Ive also had cupping done a session before last. The therapist believes im having certain issues because of the right scapula/shoulder blade and lack of use. So she has been doing a massage/release in and around the right scapula/ shoulder blade.

Afterwards i am able to Almost fully do the above the head stretch/arm extention above head from laying on my back on the table without pain. Yesterday i was out for a bit witht the kids just walking in the park and allowing the kids to ride their scooters and skateboards was having some pains around the right scapula/shoulder blade. I will ask about this monday when i see the therapist.

It Was different. Never had this pain before.

My arm fatigues very quickly. Shakes often when im trying tonl use it for basic things. Feels heavy. Im very uncomfortable most of the day and especially when trying to sleep.

I have two links if interested to understand the different methods of performing bicep tenodesis. Depending on injury. How active you are , age, how soon the injury is taken care of.

After reading these if anyone hs any questions i can go over what was done to me. And go over my initial evaluation/mri and then the actual surgery.

Sleeping sucks. Im very sore and in a different pain than during the day. Seems like my hand swells up at night trying to lay on my left side and i have alot more sharp pain/ splintering feeling. Compared to Like when breaking a chicken bone. My shoulder feels like it is always being pulled forward and inward to my pec. Seems like it just isnt sitting properly or in the right spot.

I experience popping or rubber band snapping noises often throughout the day.

Today therapy was split between 2 people. My normal therapist and an assistant.*
Always start off with stim .
Followed by stretching out the shoulder and bicep, laying on th3 table while the therapist manipulates the arm.*
Next she does a scapula massage/ work.*
Then restretches out the shoulder.
Next. Laying on my side do shrugs.*
In a circular motion clockwise then counter. Clock wise 2 top
2 back 2 bottom 2 forward equals 1. Rotation. So we do 30 in both directions.
Laying on my back t bar extensions above the head and then out to the shoulder. 30 reps both exercises. Hold 5 sec.

Laying on my side. Elbow on my side 90%.*
Side laying external rotation. (Forgot the name of exercise...lmao)1lb weight
Wrist curls. 5lbs(very light)
Bicep curls 3lbs and 5lbs sets of 20 x2
Reverse curls 3lbs and 5lbs 20reps x 2
Hand Grip (blackcolor)*
30 squeezes hold each for 5 seconds.

Isometrics using the wall 2 sets of each 30sec hold each.
Delt raises
Forward, top -of palm against the wall,
side -top of palm against the wall*
rear -palm pressing against the wall
Standing palm against the wall elbow bent at the side 90% press inward with palm
Back of palm against the wall bent at elbow 90% angle press outward against the wall

Delt raises. 2 sets 20 reps hold 5 sec thumb upward
1.Forward*
2.Between forward and side about 2 oclock position
3. Side raises. Raise the arm. Just under half way.

Low rows with blue bands. 2 sets x 20reps hold 5 sec

Tricep pushdowns with blue bands
2 sets 20 reps slow controlled for a 3 sec hold
2 sets 20 reps hold 5 sec standing lat pull downs with blue bands
Standing wall reach/extentions. W/towel. Trying to reach up the wall with my hand on the towel. 1 set 20 reps
Side: Cannot do these. My arm cannot turn to the side with my hand up(like when you wave to someone).*

Cryo ice therapy for the shoulder 15 minutes. Done

Put both your hands up in front of you. Like your gonna smack hands with someone or play patty cake.
With your palms facing outward i can rotate the left hand/arm to the left side of my body.
Cant do that at all on the right side. I Can move my right hand/arm to the right about 3-4"from patty cake position un front of my body... 3-4" inches.... Wtf. There is no rotatingto the side at all.. This is the first time trying these today.. This sucks and is very painful. Its like there ia no longer a socket for the arm to rotate freely in.
I hope this new bicep tendon placement isnt the cause. If so, i hope this will not be a problem now. This is the Beginning of 5 weeks into therapy.
To be accurate today is the 13th therapy visit

Who knew.. If this is true. Why not do both seperate. Recovery time seems to be significantly less.

Been doing hills the last few days.

About 45 minutes to an hr. Shins are dam killing me. See the ortho Wednesday. Cant wait. Need approval to start real cardio. Running/jogging etc. Gonna see if im able to do any body weight exercises.

Ive been going over some things.

Restrictions after 20 weeks are Kinda upsetting. So i am gonna have to see what kind of alternatives i have.

Therapy is dam killing me. I feel like a total newb. I push myself so hard by the time therapy/rehab is over. My arm is shaking so bad.. Lol.

So we have added many more exercises.

Everything is 3-5sec hold x2sets

Side lying external rotation with 3lb weight.

Hold for 5 sec repeat 20 reps x 2sets

Low rows with bands

Hold a band between both hands palm up in front of me , elbows at my sides. Pull outward to the sides with both hands Keeping elbows down at my side. 20 x 2sets

Standing with bands.

Elbows down to the side , hand in front of me i perform and external rotation 20 reps x2

Followed by internal rotation with band.

20rep x 2

Tricep extension 2 sets black bands

5 sec down , hold for 3 sec,...slowly retract 5 sec to starting position

Wall presses w/ towel. Forward and side.

These kill me.im so spent when doing these.

It takes everything i have to push up the wall.

I can get about 3/4 with elbow in front of my body. I cannot yet rotate my arm enough to do a proper pressing motion. Cannot get the elbow/ arm to the side of my body and hand upward as if im doing a press. It will take some time.

Bench press (lol)

Laying on my back i have a pvc 1"pipe with an ankle weight wrapped around it.

I do 25 or more presses...very slowly down and up count to about 7 each way.

Laying on my stomach on the table with my right arm hanging off the side i do a

one arm row

Reverse fly /Read delt raise

Then keeping my arm in a straightened position hanging off the table i raise my arm to my butt.. Behind me without causing pain.

Plus all my normal exercises and stim. Finish with ice.. Done in about 2 hrs

See the ortho Wednesday.

More physical and strenuous Stretching should be in the works. Also, im pushing for my cardio jogging/running and see about pushups. Evennif she will allow them from my knees i will take it.. Better than nothing.

Been a long day with the dr.

Saw the ortho today. She said im very tight. (Tendons).

She said the tear was pretty severe she is not surprised.

Gonna add in overhead pulleys. To help with range of motion and stretching the tendons.

Work Restrictions are the same. Nothing has changed for now.

So dont know what work will do or how they will react. Had to send everything to my lawyer and work. I am to continue therapy 2x a week. See her again in 8 weeks.

She said closer to 6 month range for better range of motion better flexability.. /

Im able to jog /run. Do cardio. I was told do not push the arm past the point of exhaustion.

Even discussed my trt and referred me to a dr. In house.

So as i said, all restrictions are to remain the same.

Today i was told work cannot accomadate my restrictions. So as of now im out for another 8 weeks...see ortho again in july!! Getting real rough not making money!! Been out since the beginning of feb!

Was in the process of buying a home before this surgery. So i cannot let this mess that up and affect my credit..

Today went to therapy. I am pretty dam sore.

Added in over head pulleys.

1. like doing delt raises, except using my left arm as the weight adding pressure to raise the right arm above the head in a delt raise. Hold for 5 sec.

2. Like a shoulder press. Using the left arm again as the weight and pulling and stretching out the right arm into a shoulder press motion. Hold for 5 sec.

Elbow isnt fully to the side while doing this but much farther then it has been.

This also helps rotating the arm/hand upward while my elbow is out toward the side.

3. One arm tricep ext. While holding a towel behind my back. The left hand is doing the extension upward above the head. While the right hand is holding onto the towel (trying to get motion going backward).

The goal is to be able to take the right arm and bend it behind your back. Hand aboit midway up your back..

Presently i cannot get my right hand even behind my butt cheek.. It sucks badly...

This was the worse of the three .. Painful is an understatement.

Therapist Did a lot more physical stretching me out and pushing my limits to the side and beyond my head... Im obliterated... Totally wiped out.

Also continue other exercises.

Will do foam rolling tonight and throughout the weekend to keep loose and also use a tennis ball behind and around my scapula.

My therapist told me the nurse for workers comp called her.

said she was surprised and caught off guard. My therapist also said she (nurse )was rude and made it out that my ortho was mad..And she ( the nurse) wanted to get me back in and seen by someone else to change my restrictions that my orthp put in place.

Is this even allowed? Is she overstepping her bounds?

How can the nurse for wc try and have someone else change what my surgeon has instructed after she saw just saw me and reevaluated me.

Some crooked and under handed shit goin on here.

Went on a family vacation for a week.*
Nurse even called me twice on vacation.*
Next she called my therapist boss to try and get her in trouble.
Since ive been back we changed up a bunch exercises.*
Added foam roller straight up and down the center of my back. I roll on it from left clavical tonright clavical.*
Also on the foam roaller we do a (pec )flyes no weights. 2 sets
Also on foam roller we do an OH stretch try and touch the ground and then bring hands back to my chest.
All exercises have increased in weight.*
Black bands on all exercises that i use bands.
While doing tricep ext/kickbacks. The right side/band snapped...lol i apologized. They said they have more.. I waited to do triceps last. Didn't want to wear down the bicep and shoulder.*
Curls im on 7lbs. Will ask for 10lbs next week. They had me on 5lbs. Talked em up to 7lbs. Hope this iant the max lbs they have.
My range of motion has increased a lot. I can now get deodorant on both arms without using the wall or only my left hand for both sides.*
Gonna start back up on my bpc157. See the ortho again on the 3rd of july. So i wanna press things a little now. I believe now the anchor in the shoulder for the bicep is stable and shouldnt come out. Now its all about getting range of motion back and strength. Still cant wipe my ass with my right hand.*
Need to get the backward range of motion back. Cant bring my right hand up behind my back at all. I can only get to mid ass cheek.. Lol
Also, still cant rotate my arm into a shoulder press position.*
Getting better, but a very slow process.
Forgot to mention ive started doing wall pushups.. At therapy

1.Regular hand spread
2.Military hand placement
3.Diamonds
3 sets of each she said 10
So i did 15
So i did these like a superset 1/2/3 30 sec break. Repeat. Repeat again.

Monday began a new regimen.

I believe this is what i truly need.

I will be back in the gym 5 days a week.

Cardio will be everyday.

Gonna have to start super light with right bicep

And pulling exercises.

Gonna try and use the pec deck for stretching and getting back my range of motion.

The gym is under some construction. Walked around did some cardio yesterday evening.

I feel so awkward. Its honestly hard trying to get myself into a schedule routine right now. Trying to figure out what i can and cant do. What is to much and what is a No no. Im gonna try and reach out to my ortho and see if i can implement some heavier weights. And see if i can use the pulldown machine. And maybe tricep dip machine. Preacher curl and a few others. pulling exercises.

Even bench with just the bar if she will allow it. Even seated bench .....

Update in a bit headed to the gym.

There are a lot of uncertainties. One thing for sure.. After seeing the surgeon come july 3rd. I want to be ready/able to go back to full duty. 5 month on a very limited income has made things very difficult. So it will be worse if i go back on light duty with heavy restrictions.. So i wanna push as hard as i can (smartly)without causing more damage.

At the 6 month mark i wanna have most of my mobility and range of motion back!

Today 1hr 30min rehab/therapy.

Started off stretching me out on the table.

Trying to get the right arm/shoulder to a full above the head stretch.

Also worked on the side range of motion.

First exercise was new.

Double straps hanging from above my head down to my thigh (height).

Take one in each hand, with palms facing me and arms fully extended straight out in front of me I walk forward until both arm are pulled upward above my head and my arms are now being pulled behind me. Hold this position for 5 seconds. Repeat for 20 reps. I was definitely feeling this stretching out my right arm/shoulder. The pain/soreness was comparable to my first few weeks of therapy..

Definitely need to get this arm to full rom.

Im very flexable to begin with. So i would compare this to about 70% range of motion.

Best way to describe this is a cable crossover .

Begin with my right arm pulling a (band)from thigh high on my left side. Bring my right elbow up in a chicken wing position shoulder height then extend my arm out to the side so my arm is straight out. Hold and bring back slowly .. Repeat for 20reps.

Like a half of an X. If you can picture that.

Then i performed all my normal band exercises. Everything is with the black bands.

Followed by laying chest down on the table.

one arm rows 7lb

Reverse Flyes 5lb

One arm Rear delt raise 5lb

Bicep curls 7lb

Supination curl 7lb

Reverse curl 7lb

Wall push ups

Standard 20

Miltary 20

Diamond 20

Used the Foam roller
Performed OH extentions
Performed Chest Flyes

When done went to the gym

20minutes arch trainer

Leg extentions

4 set -15 reps

Leg curls

4 sets 12-15 reps

Seated Calf raises

4 sets 10-15reps

Back in for 20min arch trainer.

Called left a message for my ortho.

Asked if im able to lift 45lb plates using both hands.

Also will confirm about using overhead pulldowns for stretching and range of motion purposes. Little to no weights.

Hopefully i will get a call back tomorrow.

Using the black bands and stretching them how i do when doing certain exercises. I can definitely say im pushing/pulling more than 45lbs. It also took more than 45lbs of pressure for me to break the last black band.

todays therapy*
Before we began everything i decided to talk about my shoulder in detail and really press the issue about there seems to be no rotation in the socket.*
She agreed it seems to be froze/bound up.*
So we changed some stretching and table work. Placing a ball behind my delt pressing the shoulder forward and with my arm out to the side in a 90 degree angle , i would push her hand with an internal rotation for 10 seconds. The allow the forearm to fall back like flexing my bicep(position). Each time i had a better stretch allowing my arm to fall back closer to a normal flexing position.*
Dam i was sore and im sure i will be sore later but its well worth it. I wiah we had begun these sooner.*
I did all my normal exercise. Lasted about 1.5hrs of therapy.*
Afterward i went to the gym.
35 minutes of the arch trainer.. Added 3 minutes was of a cool down. 4 , 3, 2 done.*
I would go 3 minutes level 8 incline 1minute level 4 and repeat. Until finished. Resistance stayed the same at 10.

Will go back tonight to Do more cardio and get in a real workout and stretch.*
Ive been cleared for a bunch of tricep exercises, some closer grip pulling exercises, Rows , some bicep work, also.

*last night hit the gym again about 11:30pm. got outta the gym about 1:10am.*
Started off 15minutes arch trainer
Leg extentions
Leg curls
Seated calf raises
One arm preacher curl*
Tricep ext. 3 sets workwd up to 100lbs. Was worried about putting pressure on the front of the shoulder so kept things lighter than normal. But better than doing no weights.. Had a good pump. Changed grips from a v grip to straight bar. Only did 2 sets with the straight bar. I could definitely feel more of a pull in the front on the right shoulder. So i didnt wanna chance it.
Moved over used v grips for seated low cable rows. Used light weight but kept constant TUT. Nice and slow movements.*
Moved over to the pec deck.*
Used one arm adjusted for a good stretch. Used very light weight. Did 4 sets of like 30 reps. Didn't feel a whole lot but each time i will try increasing a little as long as everything stays safe.
Moved over to seated machine rows.*
Did 3 sets light weight i think maybe 70-80lbs. Slow and strict. Constant tut.*
Did a variety of stretching then moved back in for 30 minutes of the arch trainer.
Was a good day i will say. Hit the gum twice

Ok i thought i posted the other night. It was kinda late. Guess i fell asleep and it didnt go through.
So this will be a shorter version.
Made some big strides in recovery and rom.
Also, during therapy we have added machines along with bands and dumbells.
Still doing about 1hr of stretching every night before bed laying on the floor. I have a hard massage ball i place behind my scapula and move it to different spots up and down the lats and delt. At each spot i may stay there up to 10 or 15 minutes allowing my arm to stretch out to the side and above my head. We have really pushed hard trying to get the rotation back in the upper arm/shoulder. Seems to be helping but it is relentless.
Ive just moved up to 25s on dumbells for curls. And forearms. I havent done any shoulder pressing movements. This is where the arm needs to rotate so im in position to do these.
My last visit to therapy was Just under 2 hrs in time.
Incorporated some modified pushups, military and diamonds. Ball throws, rows with weights(close grip) high and low. I know i havent added in everything but dont wanna make this to long!
I feel im ready to start back pushing for some strength.
Get into a slightly modified routine but effective.
I believe its time to start a log and dial in cardio and training now. Chest i will have some questions and open to suggestions. Same will go with back and pulldowns. Main goal, drop all this fat ive picked up and get to work. No fucking around. No excuses... I see the ortho next week the 3rd. I assume i will be back to work the 8th. I have to clear some things with My ortho but i believe she should go along with what im asking.
This has been a long ongoing process. Since i first gotten hurt in 2017. Since then everything started going downnhill. im very excited to finally see the light and begin my journey back!!!!

Seen the the ortho. Back to work full duty!

There are still issues but i was told i may lose 7-10% of my range of motion. Also, i was told no ball throwing at all. Im suppose to be seen again in 3 months. As for now, continue therapy at home. Funny thing is when i brought this up she was very fast to say no throwing !!! Yet in therapy ive been doin ball throwing into a net with a weighted ball. Oopsy.

I was told i can do most things. No jaring/ jerking movements. I can do pushups for strengthing my chest. I can do bench but she doesn't want me to go below parallel.

I return to work sunday night. 11-7 for the week.

Gonn Keep things kinda light, work on increases my strength(should be easy) keep higher reps. Dropsets, supersets. Time under tention. Etc.

So now its actually time to get my fat ass back in shape. Update shortly

First week back and things here(work)have really taken a dive. On a good note. Im feeling pretty good. Work 7p-7a today. Im making money and cannot complain. Being out of work and really out of commission for such a long period of time really gives you a different perspective on things. A clearer perspective.

All therapy from here on out is being done at home, work, or the gym.

Tonight ive completed some of my stretching, a 25 minute jog, 3 sets of regular pushups.

For shoulder presses, im using the lightest band i have because i still cannot rotate the lower arm and hand into that throwing position. So it kinda moves in a slightly forward upward motion.

I am able to do corkscrew/swimmer press a little easier since it starts in at the shoulder and rotates upward.

Will update more in a few hrs.

Tonight im gonna do some light delts concentrate on tut. Slow and methodical.

Followed by some biceps/triceps.

And probable stretching the back/bicep/shoulder with the bands in a pulldown position
