what up fellas. I’ve been on the keto diet the last 8 weeks for a cut and I’m down 26 pounds. I’m still at about 22 percent bf but was maybe considering moving to a ckd diet. Really missing my carb fueled muscle pumps and would like to throw an oral in the mix of my test only cycle right now but it’d be pointless to add an oral without having any carbs. What’d you guys think? Any experience with the cyclical keto diet while dropping body fat? Thanks in advance.

I just dropped 20lbs on Keto diet in 4 weeks. I get 2x carbs 50gms a week on non consecutive training nights. Usually have a cheesburger and fries on Saturday night too.

What oral would you think about adding and why?

Mate you saying you carb up two days a week? And was maybe wanting to add some tbol but I know it’d be pointless while on straight keto but thinking maybe it would benefit if I were throwing in a couple carb load days

I have 50gms carbs (white rice) 2 days a week. Thats no carb up LOL The rest of my meals are protein and fat all farm raised grass fed organic meat, high fat stuff for the most part, but its full of good fats I even eat bacon regularly. Avocados, olive oil on salads, raw nuts.
If your running an androgen which will protect muscle you can really cut cals pretty low without loosing muscle, the issue is we lose water and fat and think its muscle..its not. However you will get a little stringy in the process.

Carbs in high doses make me feel like shit doesn't matter where they come from. I feel better when I only eat them at night.

Im trying to really cut before my next blast right now and Im down from 250 to 225 as of today. Its been about 5 weeks.

Are you feeling a lack of energy at all from not having any carbs? I've heard mixed review about Keto and the energy that you either get or don't get from it.

I don't think adding in a oral would be pointless if you are one keto. Add in any oral you want. Make sure your salting your food that will help you feel a little more full. One of the aspects that goes with keto is that the flatness that you have now will be supercomensated once you add carbs back in. Once you start eating carbs again your body will absorb them so well and your pumps will be insane.

I’ve been wondering this too. Love keto but sometimes have strength issues in the gym. My heavy days I take in 45-50g of carbs the other days I’m less than 20g. I’ve been thinking of doing anavar to help out.

IMO keto isnt the way to gain size. I honestly believe you need carbs to gain size. I tried keto for gaining and got nowhere. For fat loss its great i just lost 24lbs of fat in 6 weeks. 249-225 lbs

Keto is a great way to shred some unwanted bodyfst or maintain a low level of bodyfst once you're there. Carbs are the most effective fuel source depriving your body of them around periods of great exertion seems counter productive. Even Dave palumbo says he feeds his athletes in the offseason and gives them carbs and he's mr Keto lol
