PLEASE HELP ME
I am a member of BOP but my fiance isn't so I wanted to ask this question in this forum for her. She was a former fitness model in her 20s but now she is 47 and while she looks incredible for her age and is very fit, she herself is not happy with the way she looks as for the first time in years, she has gained some fat the last 6 months with no change in diet, workout regimen or lifestyle. Not a lot but definitely like 7 lbs. Her lean muscle is definitely bigger than it was a year ago but under her subcutaneous fat - she is getting frustrated because she can't see it. Maybe because of stress at work in a new position she might have increased cortisol levels but aside from that nothing is different.
I am about to put her on a program that I think would be good but then again it might be good for a man and not a women so I would really appreciate the input of experienced ladies over 40 on what we should do to get her to reach her goals before summer. While I am a trainer and I am very experienced, I really need the help of another woman because she will do anything I recommend and I do not steer her wrong. She is such a great person that my gift to her is to get her to her vision for herself. At this point I am thinking I need to get her thyroid checked out but I don't understand what is happening with her.
Her stats
47 years old
5'7
125 lbs was her weight for years till Sep of 2017 and its now 134 lbs
Body fat level - 20%
Objective - gain some lean muscle and reduce her body fat - not really scale focused - We have a goal for her to get to where she wants by summer. In terms of the PEDs - she is very feminine and does not want to lose that with whatever I give her - but is open see below
She is showing no signs of pre menopause or menopause in any way
Our workouts - I train her - see below
-Weights - we do a push / leg / pull format - each body part gets worked out twice a week but we make sure we do not overtrain
-Cardio - spin class 4 days a week - and tread mill 2 days a week (her body fat is always lower when she is doing intense cardio)
Diet - clean - we track her macro nutrients. Mostly lean meats/poultry/fish for protein and whey protein, good fats with each meal that does not have carbs, and carbs sparingly and only before and after intense physical activity. So probably 50% protein, 30% carb and 20% fat. We never mix carbs and fat.
Supplements - where I need input also. Obviously Whey protein, Actyl Glutathione, MCT Oil
A few months ago - we had her on anavar (low dose 10 mg) and that SARM Cardarine (which I am still not confident that it helps with fat loss) - I am still baffled that with a clean diet and intense work out that she saw no benefit.
Right now - she started clen 2 weeks ago first at 20 mcg then 40 mcg and now we are bumping to 60 mcg and she has seen no loss - after 2.5 weeks I thought that she should see something - but she has not lost anything and her diet/training is the same. This clen is from a BOP sponsor so I know its g2g. I don't understand that.
She trusts me and did an oral - Anavar - because I recommended it but not really looking to jump into injectables at least right now. But she would take Anavar again assuming its not at a dose that cause virilization.
She is open in a few years to do HGH but not yet - she would try Sermorelin / GHRP 2 right now and based on my results with a BOPs sponsor's IGF-1 she might try that. I just don't know if Sermorelin/GHRP 2 does anything and if IGF 1 is good for a woman. I am not a believer in the Sermorelin/GHRP2 but that is me.
I would love her to try a little of my primo but she is not ready but she is fine doing another anavar run maybe just a tad higher - 20 mg
This is what I am thinking
Clen - on an off every 2 weeks at least through February
Ostarine on February and March then Off (I am still not 100% sold that it really works but willing to try)
Anavar - 6 weeks of 20 mg starting April
Sermorelin/GHRP 2 starting February
IGF 1 - May (I am still not 100% sold this is the right thing especially for a woman with her objectives)
With what I said what would you suggest - I would welcome any input of woman of comparable age and fitness. Work out regimen, diet, PED, supplements. etc. I really don't care if you say anything negative - be upfront but please direct me.
Thx
