View Full Version : STAYING ANONYMOUS WITH BITCOIN

born

Here is a link to a very nice article discussing the proper protocol that should be followed to stay as anonymous as possible with bitcoin.

I am not a techie... Reading this a few times and googling a few things about downloading tor browser and TAILS, following step by step, is pretty damn easy.

I hope every source out there is using a system similar to this. Also, this should give some out there an idea of how big of a pain in the ass it is for all these great sources offering multiple forms of cryptocurrency payment.

A Step-by-Step Guide to Creating an Anonymous Wallet for Covert Practices : Bitcoin (https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1c8yb3/a_stepbystep_guide_to_creating_an_anonymous/)

I was removed from coinbase for sketchy biness.
I have not implemented this system yet but I feel it is inevitably necessary for guys like us in the future.

Bitcoin has become so legitamized now that it gets easier for the eye in the sky to track us with ease every day.

The IRS above all wants the millions they would generate off our trade. They always find a way in. I just want to stay ten steps ahead. There are so many gov organizations crawling through bitcoin now its worrysome.

I think something we all need to be looking into is reputable bitcoin wallets that our identities are not attached to.

This is a good start in the link posted above but I encourage anyone with info regarding good anonymous wallets to post up. I really want a thorough discussion on this subject from every angle.

In the end moneygram and WU are just to big of a paper trail in my opinion. Crypto is the wave of the future and I don't think we can be too careful staying anonymous.
We may spend an extra hour per year trying to remain anonymous but there are thousands trying to track our movements 24-7.

I also worry there are a lot of sources out there having btc sent directly to an account they are attached to. The Government does not care about steroids or even the distribution, it's the money thats the motivator. When big brother doesn't have a handle on a trade worth millions... You can bet they are working on it. What is every mob kingpin charged with in the end? Its usually not murder etc... It's tax evasion. They could have put out 100 Hits etc in their time but their ass is going down for tax evasion. It's darkly humorous!

When they take guys down they don't arrest them for their transgressions. They arrest them and force them to pay back whatever revenue they generated. The prison part is just to appease a public of sheep.

Another "drug dealer" taken down! Good job keeping our streets safe Mr. Prosecutor!

These idiots are only just now realizing just how easy it is to buy narcotics etc off the darknet. They might just be retarded but I doubt it. I am betting it is just now finally becoming a large enough market to justify intervention.

I feel like one day we will all be in the spotlight on the open web. I think the market just hasn't reached that point yet for intervention. When that day comes I hope my ass is hidden with every available software and appropriate hardware available.

I plan on doing this the rest of my life. Thats like... Up to ten years possibly. Ten years is a long time for them to find new ways to take money from me.

One other thing, moving smaller amounts of money on multiple accounts is going to keep heat off of you much more effectively than one large account that you feel is bulletproof. Bearing in mind having a shit ton of bulletproof accounts moving small amounts is probably the bees knees.

Just talking myself through this as I go.

You never use an exchange to pay your bills. You always move it from the exchange (coinbase) for instance is an exchange. You move it from coinbase to binance or blockchain. If you buy ether on coinbase you can move it to. Binance and then trade it for Bitcoin or other alt coins. Binance will allow you to use there altcoin Bnb to take care of the transaction fee at 50 percent less cost

kubes

For those of you that use the ATM same idea. Buy ether send it to your binance wallet when your ready to pay a bill trade altcoin for Bitcoin and move it to blockchain using BNB to pay the fees at 50 percent less

Is binance anonymous? Do you have any suggestions for anonymous alternative accounts?

Ya use a bitcoin ATM and send it directly to blockchain. Blockchain only needs your email addy and the ATM only requires id if its over 1,000 ED Or use Paxful and trade for bitcoins straight to blockchain or localbitcoin can go right to blockchain

Doesn't blockchain require ID?

If you follow the proper protocol for anonymity there is no tie to you whatsoever.

Tor, TAILS, public wifi, anonymous email, anonymous bitcoin, and you are invisible.

When you get an email on your anonymous email asking for you to verify identification walk away from the account. Having multiple accounts both email and bitcoin that deal with smaller amounts would be best. That way it doesn't kill you if you have to abandon one.

As cubes said, buy in and cash out in person.

You would basically be a ghost. I am getting a hard on I think.

born

A source should remember to be the one in control at all times. Things work your way always. No one ever returns a package and you never attach your name to a thing.
If someone creates or tries to create a conflicting circumstance close any account attached to it both bitcoin and email.

You know you have made it when you are sitting in fed pen for tax evasion lol!

Born is right on and if you want to be really safe use a lap top with no hard drive. Boot from a live linux cd at your local hot spot use tor and an email that you have never used from home that is linked to blockchain. Your almost bullet proof

If you use the OS TAILS it has pretty much has everything built in for absolute anonymity, as that is what it was made for. It even has a Bitcoin wallet built in. The only thing I would add to that, before sending crypto to your TAILS wallet run it through a blender first. Especially if you're dealing with a legitimate amount of money.

The whole point of this forum is to keep everyone safe and with knowledge about products the best practices to use them and the same way goes for the exchange of funds while still reamaining anonymous. We all have real lives and familys saftey for all involved is key!

Before the fbi figured out the mob was laundering all their money through western union we were nowhere on the radar. After the lid was blown off that it was never the same for anonymous transfer.

Ever look back at the wild west and think about what you could have done? Thats how I see those days.

Make no mistake, when they crack down on crypto hard enough we will find another way around. The law will never overcome cooperating free individuals and thats all that anynymous transfer and bitcoin is. Individuals cooperatively finding a way around.

So after logging in the desktop site this is where i am with coinbase it appears I have the option to send the remaining Bitcoins to a different btc type of address or forfit my funds and complete closing the account. Now if I had a lot of funds it seems like the smartest thing to do would be send it to one brand new Bitcoin address then to another one from that Bitcoin address and close the first one that I sent it to and never use that one again ,being the fact that it's not that much funds I think cutting my losses avoiding the headache and accepting the fact that Bitcoin is warning me about my transactions rather than attempting to report me for quote on quote fraudulent practices or something of that nature. Banks do the exact same thing they will warn you first because they still want your business in some way shape or form and that there's a actual better way to launder your business activities but they're not going to come flat out and tell you that. At the end of the day they are a business out there to make money and want you to still use them but by doing it in a way that doesn't draw too much attention to yourself for them if they are practices that's May raise questions for whatever reasons.
Because they're still giving me an option to get my f****** money without it being traced back to me. And if I really wanted to I could still use coinbase using another individuals but obviously there's other routes out there that I can use that no one's ID has to be used to do these transactions or bank accounts Etc and that's the best route brothers. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180204/fb04233bf779299fb26a4ac89ff95a0f.jpg

If law enforcement is or was involved they would have let the transaction go through. Felony posession/intent to distribute is a charge worth while. Misdemeanor attempting to purchase ain't jack.

Coinbase has your ID. Law enforcement will not be involved or they already would have been back when there was a charge worth seeking.
