Hi brotherhood fam,

This is bit of a generic question so I understand that specifically it may be hard to answer but I'm curious about it.

Say you're in off season though still eating very clean. If you're running a decent amount of hgh, is it worthwhile going to a quality buffet once a week?

I generally eat clean year round though I always notice the more food I'm getting in, it's almost as if the hgh is making me a bottomless pit, and each day I'm waking up fuller etc. If I miss just one meal, I look flatter - which is always the norm.

Now this isn't an excuse to eat shit, as I don't touch fast food, I just wanted to get an idea if once a week ingesting a massive amount of calories on hgh will serve a positive purpose/benefit?

Thanks

Your thinking isn't off. I do IF (Intermittent Fasting) and have found that in-taking massive calories once or twice a week, especially after a fast, provides a big blast to metabolism and muscle fullness. But I tend to do these large cal meals at home.

However, going to a buffet can be an affordable way to get access to huge calorie meals. But you have to aware of what you are eating and be aware that the sodium content of the food will be VERY high in comparison to cooking at home. So, be cautious in your food choices and chug lots of water!

I guess I'll ensure to up the cardio to sweat the sodium out - nonetheless; great pumps the following day?

I like to eat really, really clean all year round. Believe it or not, I went 10 months straight without having a "cheat day" or even "cheat meal". Nothing but oats, chicken, beef, fish, rice, etc.... I have ADD and when I get on a tangent, I take it to the extreme. It has its benefits and detriments. It's great because I can stick to a diet quite easily. It's bad because my wife, kid's, parents, etc... hate me. I'm too rigid they say. Anyway, this past Xmas I went back to my parents house for the week. I continued to workout, but I had 4 day's of eating, eating, eating. Alot of good, and alot of bad. I put on 8 lbs during that week. I was feeling miserable about cheating on my diet so bad, but when I looked in the mirror, I looked great. Full and blown up. That taught me that you need a "cheat meal" every now and then. For some, it might be twice a week, for others, once a month. But I think I actually screwed myself by being so rigid and not incorporating any cheat meals into my diet. It's now Feb 5th, about 5 - 6 week's since Xmas week when I had my 4 day's of cheating. I'm almost 20 lbs heavier than I was before going back home at Xmas, yet my waist size is exactly the same, stayed at 31". Wearing the same 31" waist jeans and have room around my waist, although my legs and glutes are filling them out more.
Anyways just giving you my experience with my diet and cheat day's. I think they are definitely necessary.

I'm actually not too far from you, all my meals are weighed, I prep every week etc.

I think it's a debatable topic. Where both sides have merit.

Think of someone like Dexter Jackson for example, the guy is always peeled. And is still pretty solid year round, being nearly 50 years of age...

On the other side, Lee Priest would be a typical example of cheating more often. Not only is he a genetic freak, he can put on the fat (pretty easily compared to Dexter), yet he has a very different look. Full. Swole. Massive. Stocky AF.
Dexter doesn't have that, to that degree.

I've come to the conclusion that it's perfecting (personally) a combination of both. Definately stay strict to achieve that condition, though when it comes to a point your body feels starved, even with 6-7-8 meals a day; have a massive carb load, or buffet.

Sometimes we are too scared and feel guilty when we have perfected the ultimate clean routine, and what we often don't realise, we can be shooting ourselves in the foot, by NOT going all out and getting those calories in when we need...

Then again, I'd rather have that problem, then be one of those fat fucks at the gym that never changes. Lol.
