I will be logging my journey for the next 10 weeks as I prep for my next power meet. This will be my third meet that I have competed in and I’m going for an elite total (over 1701lbs for my weight). I will log diet as well as I can and my training for each day. Gear will be a mix between dyel and advanced. My last meets total was 1658, 606 squat/424 bench/ 628 dead. I’m looking to hit around 650 squat/ 460 bench/680 deadlift. I will be competing at 242 and am currently sitting around 250. I have been on 4 iu supertropin for about 4 weeks and will run that continuous as well as I’m on my regular trt of 250mg Test e a week plus the past month I’ve added 200mg mast on top of that. Cycle will be
Wk 1-8 npp/prop blend 500mg
Wk 1-8 test E 300mg
Wk 1-8 mast 500mg
Wk 4-8 dbol/adrol 25mg injectable ed
4 iu supertropin am/pm split
50mg proviron ed
100mcg t4 ed
Aromasin 12.5 mg eod (adjustable)

I’m looking to go pretty big this time around and hopefully grab state record for squat. These numbers would put me at a good spot for uspa nationals or IPL worlds depending on what my coach thinks. Hope you can all follow along and give pointers where you see them. I haven’t seen very many logs for powerlifting so hopefully you guys enjoy!!

Today’s workout was bench and some back
Comp bench 8*3 @65%
Incline bench 2*5@ 70%
Pin bench 3*8@60%
Seal rows 5*10
Two way raises 3*10
Rope push downs 3*10

Been having a little pain in my left shoulder so my coach hit it with he pain pill. GOD DAM that shit hurts lol will probably be a bit bruised but no pain no gain. He said I had a pretty good sized knot where my pec meets my shoulder so I’m glad that’s all it probably is.

I’m trying to cut a little weight before I start on my cycle cause I know I’m going to blow up a bit once I start the npp and high test so calories are a bit lose then normal.
Breakfast- 2 cups Greek yogurt with half an apple and 1 cup granola
9am- half cup trail mix
Lunch- 2 cups rice with some pancit and chicken adobo
Preworkout- complete cookie and two breadsticks
Diner- 1 cup rice 10oz grass fed beef

Squats today!! Legs were a bit sore still so this one kinda hurt lol.
Comp squat-5*3@75% (455lbs)
Pin squats-3*4@80%
Safety bar front squat-3*6@70%
Ab roll outs 3*20

Pin squats at 80% suuuuck!! Feeling pretty good though definitely ready to jump back on cycle to help recovery. I’m thinking I’m going to just start it this mon instead of waiting 2 weeks. It would add another two weeks of on cycle but that’s not to bad since I was only planning a short 8 week run. Joints and all that are good I’m just slow to recover with legs and back. I was getting a bit of of carpel tunnel feeling from the hgh but it’s going away slowly with adding in the t4.

Ok so I started the cycle yesterday!! Pinned 1.2ml of DYEL npp/prop mix and was very pleased at the minimal pip from it. Was thinking it was gunna sting a bit being as it’s two short esters in one blend but absolutely no pain next day at all. Also pinned 1ml AP mast prop and couldn’t believe how thin it was. This is my first time with mast prop so I’m excited to see the results from freeing up test!! Let the MF games begin!!!

Have been sick the past couple days so no updates. Kinda worked out cause this was a de-load week anyways so I’m not missing anything. Just trying to eat as much as I can since my appetite is way down due to the flu. Will update soon

So to update I think that I just had some test flu from introducing the prop/npp blend on sat. I’m feeling a lot better and I know that it wasn’t the normal flu cause I’d still be out right now!! That’s good news for me cause I know it’s some good shit if I get test flu, hasn’t happened for a while so I didn’t even think about it being the reason but it started the day after I pinned so best guess is that’s it!!

Alright back at it after deload week!!! Forgot to post Monday’s workout
Squat 3*8@65%
Front squat 2*6@75%
Box squats 2*5@75%
Leg press 4*12
GHR 3*8

Legs felt pretty good after a little break I will be needing to take more tome and stretch out cause my it band is starting to get a bit tight I can tell. Tuesday was bench day!! By far my best and favorite lift of the three.
Comp bench (paused) 3*6@75%
Incline bench 2*5@80% 1amrap
Pin press 3*8@70%
Seal rows 3*8
Bent over bd raises 4*12
Alt 50lb db curls 4*10

Felt strong as fuck this workout!! Everything is moving really good and feeling light!! No issues with elbow which sometimes pops up when going heavy on bench. Diet is the same haven’t changed anything as of late since I’m pretty much right where I want to be as far as weight.

WhT dose you runnin on npp? I am running 375 test 300 npp and 6-700 eq right now . All homebrew and no pain. Can’t even tell I injected lol

I have been working hard as fuuuuck to get my form down and things are actually coming together pretty well!! It’s amazing how little tweaks make such a huge difference. Workout was

Trap bar deads- 2*2 and 1amrap@80% (got 6on amrap)
RDL-4*8@365lbs
100lb weighted planks 3*30sec

Hey brother I’d recommend trying to do all your deadlift work as singles low rest . You can do the same prescribed volume and perctange, but you get much more technique practice on the setup.
I did this last prep and hit a 70lb deadlift p.r!
Really helped my tightness and speed off the floor
Then you just have to hold on and be patient for those heavy lockouts

He also holds the IPL record at his weight class for deadlift. Ok so I’m about two weeks in now and gear is in full effect so I thought I’d give a little update. Still running 500 npp/testp blend (DYEL) and 500 mast p (AP) and 300 test E (AP). This blend is amazing!!! I’ve run a lot of npp and I can say this is the best my joints have ever felt. Especially given my workouts are pretty taxing at this point of prep. Prop has kicked in on top of my trt dose and I’ve had to up my asin dose to 12.5mg 5 days a week. Libido is crazy strong right now can’t give the wife a break lol. I will probably be pulling bloods in a couple weeks and I’m very interested to see how this mast is helping free test cause my strength and recovery have increased big time in the past week or so. Anyways very happy with both sponsors gear, I knew what to expect with AP as I’ve run their gear several times and it’s always been fire but I’m veeeery happy with DYEL as this is my first run with them!!

Good to hear that the pain is subsiding! I’ve started stretching like crazy between sets when squatting! It seems to help. Maybe I’ll throw in a foam roller or tennis ball too.

Looks easy when you do them ! Good idea with the youtube channel, quite a few powerlifting fans there.

And thanks for the offer on advice, i'll mostly follow the same program for at least another couple more months than will reconsider if bodymass gains keep on outpacing strength gains, should have quite a few questions to post on the forum by that time.

Ate a shit load of food today so I guess tomorrow will be low carb day lol. Had 3 eggs w/ 1.5 cups egg whites, 5 strips of bacon and some toast before workout. After went to chipotle and smashed a steak burrito. Then half a roasted chicken with 2 cups white rice. Let’s see what I can destroy for diner lol.

Today was a rest day so no update but I did get my next weeks layout for workouts and tomorrow will be a fun one. 5*2 at 500lbs for squat. I think this might be a good day to test out that victory halo that showed up at my door last week!!! Anyone used it yet? Will be my first time ever using it so I’m excited to see what the hype is about

Ok so I decided to test out the halo from victory HOLY SHIT!!! I haven’t felt like that in forever!! Smashed through heavy squats and felt like I could go all fucking night!!! This shit is the truth!!! I took just 2ml about 45min before hitting the weights. It wasn’t like tne or anything like that that you can feel a sense of it was just I felt like I could lift anything and just keep goin!! I’m sold, this will be in my powerlifting bank for sure!! Workout tonight was
Squat-5*2@80% (495)
Front squat- 2*1 and 1 amrap at 85%
Box squats- 3*6@75%
Leg press-4*12
GHR-3*10
Ab rollouts 3*20

Be careful not to get injured if you increase weights too fast.

Thanks man!! My coach rarely has me go over 70% for lifts. He doesn’t increase training % unless my lifts are looking way to easy. Friday I go back down to a 3*3 at 60% I think. It’s a weird program bounces around on weight a lot but it’s worked so far!

Seeing your level no doubt you know how to select a good coach. Powerlifting scene looks great in the US, not many people able to coach around here, if any.
FWIW I used to train 15 years back following Westside principles (what i understood from them at least). Came back very recently but still keen on working to 1RM frequently (that taste for 1 rm remained, not the strength :( ). Yet reading programs around, Russian or US, it seems working with lower percentages is quite popular now - and athletes performances keep on rising. No doubt it works.

Keep it up, waiting to see your 670 squat !

No workout today but I forgot to post yesterday’s deadlift workout!! I got a new pioneer belt and this was my first time using it for deads. I’m very happy with the belt!!! I couldn’t believe how comfortable it was right off the bat. It didn’t need breaking in at all!! Deadlift Workout was

Feeling good. Weight is moving fast from watching video, legs are a bit sore I gotta stay on top of stretching real good right after working sets!! Working with my new belt is going real good!! If anyone needs a good belt pioneer is where it’s at!!! As far as AAS everything is great to. Still on same doses and really loving this npp with mast. Have used tren and mast together but never this combo. Aggression in the gym is great libido is crazy strong right now (I’m sure this is From mast and proviron together) strength is good and joints feel on point!!

Today was another squat workout. Found some tne I had from a while back and pinned 1.2ml along with 20mg of halo and got to work!!
Squat-3*6@70% 465lbs and 1 amrap (got 8)
Front squat- 3*6@315lbs
Parallel box squat- 3*8@435lbs
GHR-3*12

Holy shit my back was pumped!!!! I’m guessing it was the halo but honestly no idea as it’s my first run of it. Felt real good with the tne and halo just had a massive back pump!!

Had bench training today. Hit some tne and off to the gym.
Comp bench-6*3@70%(315)
Incline bench-2*4@315lbs
Pin press-3*6@275lbs
Seal rows-5*10@225lbs
2 way raises-3*12 w 20lb db
50lb db curls- 3*12

Using tne felt awesome!! Could have kept going for hours I felt like!! Bench training is going super smooth, every workout is feeling almost to easy at this point. Going to talk with my coach if I need to raise up training %’s

Had deadlift training today. Got the week off from work which is nice not having to rush anything and taking in food whenever I want. Today’s lifts were
DeAdlift-3*6@500lbs with 1 amrap of 9
Hex bar deads-2*4@540lbs
Castle berry rows- 5*5@400lbs
100lb weighted planks 3@30sec

Felt good 495 went off the ground super easy!! Hit some tne and halo and felt like a mf monster!!! Got video will post later

Today’s squat session was fucking awesome!! Finally got to throw some big weight around and it felt amazing. Nothing like the rush of being under weight that would crush normal humans!!
Squats- 3*2@555lbs
Box squat- 2*1 and 1 amrap at 555lbs (nailed 6 on amrap)
Front squat-3*3@335lbs!!

Man I was so happy with how everything was moving I’m seriously pumped as fuck right now!! Hitting 3 doubles at only 50lbs lighter then my pr is awesome especially since I’m pretty taxed with how hard I’ve been going lately!! Can’t wait to see what I’m hitting at comp time!!!

Why do you keep the safety bars so low on the rack though ? Your lifts sure look easy enough (when you do them... 555lbs would crush me) you are unlikely to need the safety but how do you manage to get away from the bar if you ever miss a rep ?

Good point I just don’t plan on missing reps at this weight. When I get above 600 I adjust them for sure

I have a coach who writes my programming. The percentages are off my one rep max from my last meet. He has moved some of the percentages up 15-20lbs cause the lifts were to easy.

I do and our lifts are very close thats why I am very interested to see how this works for you. Both my squat and deadlift are 675 but my bench is 435. I only weight 238 at the moment though but I am looking for good supplemental exercises to increase my bench because I feel like after the program I have written for myself my deadlift and squat really benefited but my bench did not. I have my own progression formula that I wrote that I believe works well I just need to find certain exercise that work on my weak point of the lift. Fore example, right not I have an A and B split. One week I bench according to my progression using percentages of my max and then I do reverse bands bench with certain weight, the following week or week B I bench according to my progression and then I do 3 board presses but have slowly switched to pin presses bc i feel like that works better for some reason for me at least. I am thinking about adding reverse band deads and maybe squats as well. Its awesome to see how you are making progress though. any reason you went with npp instead of tren?

I use pin presses a lot to get past weaker points in my lifts. If I find I get stuck at the top I set it high if I feel like I have a harder time getting out of he hole I set it to the bottom. They are great at breaking those hard sticking points. My coach also has me use reverse bands but usually only closer to meet time and sets the weight at like 115%. I went with npp for two reasons. One I don’t handle tren very well and can usually only run it for a short amount of time and as beneficial as it is for strength if I’m not in the right state of mind it’s just not going to work for me. Secondly I like npp cause I feel around the same amount of strength gains as I do with tren just slightly less but the joint help is really what I find to be most useful when it comes down to grinding it out during prep. Staying healthy with good joints is just as important if not more then the huge strength gains from tren.

Ok sorry I have been off from posting much lately will be back now. Workout have been limited to 3 days a week now just training mon/wed/fri till the meet on the 21st. Everything has been moving really well!! Mon squat was
Comp squat-5*3@75%
Comp squat with chains- 2@500lbs with 100lbs of chains. 1@525lbs with 100lbs of chains.
Transformer bar front squat paused-4*6@70%
Reverse hyper- 3*10
Ab rollouts 3*20

Bench yesterday was awesome got to finally throw some heavy stuff in the mix
Comp bench- 2@80%(355) and 1 amrap (got 9 on the am-rap)
Close grip bench 2*4@85%
Pin press top half- 3*6@90%
100lb Weighted planks 3@30sec

Super happy how with how everything is moving. Coach projects a 475lb bench at comp with how much I’m getting on amrap sets so I’m really happy about that. That would be a 50lb jump from last meet!!

Man those paused squats had my dying!! Failed the last set at 4, first time this prep I’ve not been able to hit numbers but I’m not reading into it much cause my back was smoked from pulling an amrap on Friday at 606lbs!!

Sorry I did not update this thread. Got super busy during the last part of my training! Ended up with my elite total as I had hoped!!! Hit 1747 with a 651lb squat 435 bench and 661 deadlift. I was happy how it all went other then deadlifts. I got called for weak knees pulling 694!! Very happy other then that. Thankyou all for following

I was running 250mg test e, 400mg test prop, 400mg npp and 500mg mast prop. Weighed in at 237 for the 242 weight class
