In me it started with a double herniation in my lumbar spine in my mid twenties, it required surgery it was so bad. Now at 38 I've got stenosis down there and life is pretty painful. What do you do to help rehab/deal with back injury?

I have a herniated disc in my upper back c6 c7. I was doing physical therapy until I got a steroid shot. Mostly pain free now, but I still feel it. The pain isn't really the issue, biggest issue is it's pressing the nerves going to my chest/tri/lat on my right side causing me to have impaired muscle activation. Have had significant atrophy and reduced strength. I have to use different weight dbells for left and right side.

I don't know what was in it. Corticosteroid, it was into my spine right onto the herniated disc

Deep tissue massage and acupuncture.

I got surgery for mine, got a new c7 and a plate and some screws. Still hurts at times but, no regrets getting it done

I believe they helped it's been many years. I sure could use one now! Been having some nasty sciatica lately, I've got to be very cautious with some lifts like squats, and I've cut deads out of my routine for the moment which sucks! I love deadlifts and I feel they really help strengthen my lower back. The whole posterior chain really. I think I'll start sumo deads after a while. Gonna schedule a cortisone shot as well.

Deep tissue massage and acupuncture.Deep tissue massage has been really helpful in the past. Not to expensive either I don't think. I've never tried acupuncture but I've heard it can be quite effective. Definitely something to think about.

I blew outl4-5 and s1 in my early 20's while squatting, PT and just enjoy the pain for about 20 years until i had the disk trimmed. Pretty much pain free all the time, unless i sleep on the couch or some weird position. Herniated c4-6 a few years ago, unsure how. Started losing use of the arm and had them fused. Zero pain now. My left bicep is an inch smaller than my right still.

"severe" spinal stenosis here.... basically no lower back and all machines for the lower half of my body now. Good days and bad days. If I can control inflammation, it's better
