I picked up one of these yesterday. Wondering if anybody else has tried one? If so, is there a favorite thing that you like to cook? Looks like it cuts down on cooking fats but is it worth it on taste?

Never used an air fryer tho...Yeah.. I did Ocra last night. Wet it sprinkled sea salt on it and cooked it 4 mins. It was pretty good. Crunchy with no breading. They say they are great for meal prepping chicken. Throw it in and 12 mins later crispy and lean. No oil needed. We will see. I'm gonna have to play with it(haha). To get it right.

I use mine all the time. It’s a nice change from baked food. Now that we are heading into spring and I got my grill cover off I will use it less, but it’s still a nice tool to have. I like making those little Cornish hens in mine.

Air fryers are legit, all the crunch of fried foods but less the guilt.

You can steam chicken???Yes... they say if you get like almond flour or bread crumbs. It's like fried chicken without the extra fat. I'm getting ready to try it today.. I'm hopeful...

Did chicken just little bit ago. Man... Took frozen tenderloins. Ran water on them to unfreeze. Rolled in Frank's RH buffalo and low carb almond meal. Hit chicken on display and in 20 mins I was eating. It was crispy outside, tender inside. Perfectly cooked. Buffalo chicken tenders.

Opinion: Damn Good.. damn easy.

Told you bro. With such bland meals we have sometimes to make gains. Anything to make the meals better is a God send. Guy at the gym ask what's my secret to my meal preparation. I told him kitchen appliances. He laughed and said which. I told him air fryer, toaster oven because it's quicker then the regular oven, griddle for steaks, fish and chicken sometimes and instant pot or rice maker. With all of that you can make fast but tasty meals.

My wife and I got one as a Christmas gift. Thing works great. My wife even cooked a Ribeye steak in it. I was skeptical, but she seasoned it with some Grill Mates Montréal Steak seasoning and it came out great.

How I make my wings or chicken a little bit better is lightly glaze it with coconut oil (the good fat) and its even better.

Gonna try some shrimp tonight.

Have to watch Forest Gump and figure out all the ways I can prepare it.....

Oh man....I -live- on steamed broccoli and carrots! It’s my jam. Don’t ask me why I have a photo of said meal lying around mid day at work hehe....

No need for a steamer though...pot with half inch of water, bring to a boil and throw the carrots on bottom. Reduce to simmer and 14 minutes to perfection. Maybe less if you’re an al dente kinda guy.

R. Where did you buy it, Mod. #, and how much? This link said the Phillips fryer was one of the better ones, but don't recall the mod.#?

The review link suggests this one, but kind of pricey.

Can you fit a whole chicken in one of these things, say a 4-5lb chicken?

And maybe some veggies and potato's all at the same time? And if so, what size would one need to do this?

I'm still learning this one. I saw one on an infomercial the other day that was rotisserie cooking a whole bird.(about the size u get at sams).

I'm going to do pork chops tonight.. see what I get.

Sent from my SM-N920V using TapatalkI shit you not. Game chamger is an under statement.

Life changer more like it.
Food tastes better.
Cooks faster.
Healthier.
Clean is usually easier.

The only con and I mean ONLY one i can think of is that there should be shelves or larger area inside so I can cook more at once. There is a piece you can separate right and left but area is still small. Id like to be able to do fish A on top, fish B on the bottom. But oh well, still a crucial appliance.
