I ran some mk677 for a few months. Got a blood sugar reading while fasted and it was 113. Which is barely high but could be lower. I’m in very good shape. Year ago I was at 80 fasted. I know gh can cause insulin resistance so I laid off of the mk677 and bought a cheap meter. I hang out around 80-90 all day, even 1.5 hrs after meals. Which is excellent. But when I wake up it’s between 105-115. Supposedly the liver dumps glucose into the blood upon waking for some. Not educated on this subject but my primary doc was not concerned in the least. Anyone think it’ll just take time for my pancreas to adjust after the mk677? I used for a few months. Anywho, thanks guys

Get 2 fasting BS checked, one reading of 113 isnt a huge deal. If you have 2 fasting blood sugars above 110 then get an A1C checked.

It doesn't matter how healthy you are sometimes diabetes can be genetic. A1c shows average sugar over time so that will guve you a clearer picture.

^^This!
Get an A1C if your worried... i have the same issues as yourself.. i can easily control it better by taking gdas before bedtime.. usually a personal blend of berberine, chromium picolinate(sp?), and cinnamon..still fasted glucose stays around 94~99

Anything over 6.5 is considered diagnostic of type II diabetes.

My doc thinks this has to do with dawn phenomenon because all day post meals my blood sugars between 80-100, hardly ever spikes high at all. If anything I suspect it’s the increase in gh over the last 5 months and will give my pancreas time to adjust. I’ll retest in a bit and report back.
