Soon i will be having a small hernia repaired. Its “laproscopic” which my doc says isnt a big procedure and only takes 25-30 min. He did however say that i shouldnt lift for atleast a month. Id like to do a run of hcg to help with recovery and prevent another injury. I just finished up my 3rd cycle (test/npp/dbol) and it really put me on the map as a guy who “is probably on juice”. Which im thrilled with lol. So of course my biggest fear is to lose mass while im healing. Im in the middle of pct now.

goals: to maintain muscle mass while recovering from surgery and continue hgh into my next cycle to trim belly fat (not that i have much fat on me) im 25 y/o, 5.5 (yes im short) and 190lbs

plan: 2iu/day pre surgery, 3iu/day for first month of healing, 2.5iu/day for as long as i can afford.

does this make sense? Should i do 5 on and 2 off? Do i need t3 with this hgh even if im off cycle? Ive heard t3 is catabolic but then i read the sticky about needing to run it with hgh.

I just had that surgery and I can tell you it was the most painful thing I've had done to date. Mine was an umbilical hernia and repaired with mesh. I too started running gh afterwards. I'm now a month post op and still have some minor pain but I'm not going to push myself back to the gym. My doc told me nothing over 10 lbs fr 6 wks.

The worst part of this is how they blow your stomach up with the gas, it makes you feel like you've done a million sit ups.

Be careful with the pain meds as they will make you constipated and that suks. Take stool softners immediately after getting home, trust me on that!

Jeesus. Fuck. My doc said hes just gonna stitch mine back together bc its so small. Didnt say anything about a mesh. How gnarly is your scar?

Yours may not need the mesh, small ones can sometimes just be stitched. I have the mesh, took about 4 months off from heavy lifting...(Im 2 years out now) I feel it a little sometimes, probably slipping around the mesh...eventually Ill have to deal with it again. Check with RIGGS, a rep for Victory...hes had it done and used hgh also.

My tear was almost an inch but caused me no issues, other than knowing that it could be serious if it strangulated.

I had 2 other hernias in the middle of my stomach which were cake compared to this, they went in thru the skin above the injury.

The laparoscopic surgery, I had 5 incisions to accommodate the robot and the gas required to blow up the gut to allow the repair.

I'm not trying to scare you but I was told it was no big deal too. Just being honest it was painful as hell.

Thanks for the honesty. I just want to fix it before it becomes a bigger issue. As it sits the doc says its just a peice of fat poking through, not intenstine. I just dont want to compromise the rest of my life lifting. I lift very heavy

I would honestly ask for mesh. My very 1st one was no mesh and then I promptly ripped it and had to go back for the 2nd with mesh. My 3rd, this last one, while painful I have no fear of ever tearing again. The mesh was about an 8 cm round patch, so its well protected.

Remember stool softner, trust me.

Whats your hgh routine bpp? Do you think it helps?

LOL.....its a mess. I started at 2iu genotropin but I think it was bunk.

I'm now at 4ius genotropin a day but I am also pinning 300 mcg bpc157 in my shoulder and I don't know if it will migrate to the hernia or not, I doubt it.

The gh to me was to help with this hernia surgery and shoulder. I bumped up to 4iu's just to use this vial before I go on vacation next week.

I'll be 6 weeks post op Tuesday. I still have some lower ab pain, almost like a runners cramp. I never really had any pain in the direct area of the surgery, most of it was from where they inserted the robot thing in my side.

He told me nothing over 10 lbs for 6 weeks and I plan on listening.

I had a right inguinal repaired by laparoscopic. They went in through my navel and just to the right and left of it an inch or two. The blowing up of the abdomen seemed to dislodge some fat which then settled to my pubic mound, I swear I lost a visible inch of my penis which I certainly could not afford. I did have a bit of fun showing off my scrotum after all the blood settled into it and it swelled to the size of a purple grapefruit.
For a couple years after I could feel a pull from my groin to my right pelvic bone (iliac crest) like they hooked a nerve or caused some scar tissue. 9 years later I am still mindful of the groin and hold myself when I cough, not sure if it ever closed properly. I don’t feel as if I’m any better off than before. The post op pain was real. Good luck.

So first umbellic was cake and I was kicking ass through recovery, went back to training 10 weeks after surgery and within 2 weeks tore the internal sutures. Had a 2nd surgery and he used the patch. Was out for another 3 months and went back to training slowly but I still feel it and it's been since last Nov.

Start GH asap...1iu for 3 weeks, 2iu for 3 weeks, 3iu for 3 weeks and stay there for 3 months after surgery. I also ran EQ/Deca/Test 1cc week with Var 20mg 2x ED. This helped a ton because I've not lost a significant amount of lean mass. I've kept diet in check and I'm ok with my conditioning considering I've had 3 surgeries since Nov.

I would say that GH/Test/Var is the most beneficial for post surgery. Especially with a hernia repair...

Let me know if you have any more questions...

Umbilical hernia sounds like a common inury. I too have a very small one which the doctor recommends to stitch (no mesh). I've had it for about 1-2 months now and it causes very minor discomfort at times and protrudes a little. Not sure if its worth getting fixed or not?

is that how you pay for gear , by whoring your ass out to other men .

Phew tigar beat you up on that one lmao! But my doc told me mine is so small that an average person could probably ignore it for years. But considering my life style (lifting, jujitsu, motocross, etc) he said i should get it fixed while its still “easy” to fix.

Thank you man! That sucks you tore those stitches even after 10 weeks. Were you on gh the whole time? I just started 3 days ago. 3.3iu daily first thing in the morning. They are 10iu vials and trying to get that last iu out and double dipping into a new vial just annoyed me so im using the whole 10iu vial in 3 days and then starting a fresh one.

Im 25. Ive heard that at my age exogenous hgh is useless because im already producing so much of it. I also heard it can halt my natural hgh production for life, similar to using test. Is this exaggerated/bunk info?

I am retired. When I was in practice, however, (and this was for your average non-body building patient.) prescribed exogenous testosterone, (cutaneous gel) for both men and women pre- and post surgery because it is a natural anabolic steroid. I have also given IV DMSO for swelling...only guys who do alternative stuff will do that by the way.

As for HGH, while it is involved with tissue building and repair, at least for the population I was prescribing it for, tes was the way to go.

Im debating cruising into my next cycle with a low dose of anavar along with the gh for this reason
