I prefer HIIT [high intensity interval training] to any kind of cardio any day...
Burns extreme amount of calories while in the gym and the EPOC [Excess post-exercise oxygen consumption] is amazinggggg.... You can feel it for hours after the gym....

Yeah, me too. I do a combination with some days of low intensity. Mentally, it helps me out to not do the same thing everyday.

NONE:) haha, I am starting soon tho lol...always thought that cardio should be done separate from anaerobic exercise but I see ppl and hear about those who like to lift for 1.5hrs then fucking run right after!

I definitely prefer to do them separately, but scheduling that is difficult. It def affects my workouts by doing them together though.

I've been trying to bump it up to 6 days, but can't seem to get more than 5. I've got to suck it up.

I really don't do much cardio at the gym. I like to get in, workout and get out. My schedule is so cramped I don't have time to do it there.

But me and the GF go on nightly walks of about 2-4 miles. It's actually helped out tremendously. I'm on a cut right now and I always thought of cardio as high intensity, sucking wind, running. But it really doesn't have to be that way.

Granted, I'm not trying to compete, but just looking at pics from the start of my cut today, I've made some great improvements. I'm sure the T3, Var and GH are helping as well.

I try and incorporate a lot of supersets and little rest inbetween movements. It definitely keeps the heartrate up. Aside from that, I typically do some walking/hiking several days a week being that I live in a great area for it (Pacific Northwest). Doing actual "cardio" like getting on a stationary cycle, the eliptical, or treadmill isn't as entertaining so I try and integrate cardio into activities that make for an enjoyable lifestyle at the same time.

I'm in the same area as you. I'm an avid mountaineer and backpacker. I def prefer to be outside doing my cardio as well!

last summer i was doing huge amounts of cardio/intraval sprints, sometimes several miles. I stopped during the winter and because I cannot stand a treadmill, but now the front of my tibialias anteriors burn like a motherfucker after only a half mile. WTH?? I mostly walk now.

usually 20-30 mins about 3 days a week on cut cycles. Try not to do much cardio on bulk cycles. Like to save my energy for the weight room.

Im up to 15% BF so Im trying to do 4-5 days a week. One day may just be trying to run a mile in 7min, next day may be running a 5k in under 26min, then I may just get on the elliptical for 20-45 min making sure I get my HR to 180BPM and then stay under 130BPM for the rest of the time on.

I rarely take the time to actually do cardio exercises, I have ADHD and cardio is so mod numbingly boring that I avoid it like the plague. However I do train jiu jitsu at least 15 hours a week, and that includes at least an hour lf rolling (sparring) every day, so my jiu jitsu cardio is off the charts.. Put me on a treadmill and I'm likely to doze off from boredom..

10min pre-workout to warm up, and 20-30 minutes post-workout when cutting. When i'm not trying to cut i'll just do the 10min warmup before i lift.

My commute to work every day involves a lot of stairs and walking, so that helps too.
