I've always had a problem with my diet. I can get big easily but it's always that smooth look with a higher body fat. When I was younger I did a lot of power lifting. These days I want that more aesthetic look but not worried about being show ready since I'm a trucker. Currently I'm 5 10 230 trt 200mg cyp a week so my hormones are at speed. I do intermittent fasting eating between 2pm and 10pm but I might switch from a 16hr down to a 14hr fast. Now my diet pretty much looks the same mon to Fri
1 cup oatmeal with chopped banana and scoop of protein
7 hardboiled eggs
A zip lock bag filled with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and carrots
Again the same oatmeal concoction as above
And lastly 2 protein shakes
I usually eat the first oatmeal post workout and workout in a fasted state
The second oatmeal I eat half of with 3 eggs and the other half with 4 eggs around 10pm before fasting.
I work 4pm to approx 6am as a truck driver. I feel like I'm not eating enough however I'm not starving either. I have never been able to really dial in my diet and I'm open/need to try a new approach. Light me up bros maybe ditch the fasting??
I wanna get that power looking bulk where u can see all my abs but not worried about the shredded look.

There are a lot of health benefits to intermittent fasting. With that diet you just laid out you should be pretty trim.

Though I've read studies that talk about how 3rd shift workers mess up their carcadium rhythm and it fucks with their metabolism.

Yea, that's what I'm wondering... maybe I should drop the oatmeal? Go to a strict meat and veggie diet?

You need carbs to create insulin spikes to fuel your muscles. You can carb cycle. Eat a lot of carbs on hard training days, moderate carbs on easy training days and low carbs on rest days

Intermittent fasting is silly , you need to be on a structured regimented eating program no different then training. I’m not sure if you go home at night or go for weeks at a time on the road but you need to prepare you meals in advance.
