Everyone who has trained seriously for five years or so comes to realize that the mind/ muscle connection is a very real and extremely important aspect of their training that cannot be taken litely. lifting heavy weights like you're having a seizure will not yeild the results that you're after. Size, shape and symmetry will be a distant dream if one does not develop this particular " muscle group " at the earliest time possible! Leave the ego behind and work the connection like you're life depended on it!!
That being said, I would like to know which body part you have found it the hardest to develop the mind/ muscle connection with? Mine has always been BACK. If I don't concentrate one hundred percent through out every rep of every set, I quickly lose the connection. But the concentration has definitely paid off as my back is well developed. Let me know what yours is!!
