If you've tried it, what success did you have with it?

I've done it twice this past bulking season.....2 ten week cycles. I've definitely put on some size because of it.

do you follow it exactly how it's laid out?

Pretty much....my trainer put it together for me based on my physique. I can email you the layout of the program if you want.

One of my X's used to DC train and he was ... huge. I wanted to give it a go myself but was told that it wasn't for women :(

I've lifting for over 20 years. I'm going on my 3rd year of DC Training. Up until a few months ago, I followed the program to the T. I've tweaked it a little to work on some lagging parts. I highly recommend Dc. My physique looks more dense. I've had fewer injuries/aches and pains even though I'm lifting heavier at each and every work out.

I don't think so. I've done it off gear. Anyone can lift intensely three days a week and grow with the right nutrition and recovery. Everyones different. Some guys can only do it for 6 weeks, some 8 weeks. After 6-8 weeks you take a week off so your CNS recovers.

Yeah, you definitely do not need to be 'on' for dc to work. I put my son on the same program design as mine and without question noticed a difference. He's 18 and been working out for about 2 years so I felt he was ready for the dc intensity. It's not for everyone, that's for sure!
