Anyone have any kind of anecdotal data regarding IGF-1 levels and tren (19-nors)?

I have read several times tren will affect your IGF score, but nothing regarding how much so.
edit for clarity: LOWER your IGF-1

I just got my labs back with IGF-1. Have been on 4iu of growth per day and 525mg of tren ace. Igf scored at about 250. I know for a fact the growth is gtg. I also know my baseline is about 190. My liver values were high normal.

Besides dropping the tren for a few weeks and redoing the test... anyone have any insight into the interaction between the igf and tren?

If this is typical though, isn’t it a waste of time and money to run growth during a tren blast?

Depending on liver function, it can take many weeks if not months for your IGF-1 levels to plateau while running HGH. I have also read that Tren can raise your IGF-1 levels but I've never seen anyone post any data to support it. So I chalk that up as somewhere between a myth and bro-science.

There are a few studies out there that have shown Tren does in fact increase protein synthesis rates which in turn has an effect on IGF its all pretty complicated but theres a short abstract version of one such study here that u can read

Effect of trenbolone acetate on protein synthesis and degradation rates in fused bovine satellite cell cultures. - PubMed - NCBI (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20961723)

In layman's terms what that abstract points to is that there is evidence that Tren will increase the receptors ability to synthesize proteins at a higher rate resulting in IGF increases as well. Be advised though that Reading too many of these studies can lead to temporary insanity especially while on Tren so tread lightly...:bash1:

Ok so I've reread my OP and I guess I wasn't really clear at all. I was insinuating that tren (or any 19-nor) will LOWER your IGF score. My results came back shoddy any the limited information I could find as to WHY pointed to 19-nors lowering your IGF.

I feel like this would be way more widely talked about if it were substantial though. Hard to find anything. And I doubt 90% of growth users are doing test only cycles... I'm sure a ton of people are on tren as well.

Don't want to post a link directly to another forum but if you google "19-Nor Compounds and HGH --> IGF Conversion" you'll find a short discussion on the topic.

Here's what I would do I would jump off for 24 hours to make absolutely sure ur back at baseline and then go have a serum test done. IF ur serum number comes back sub par there's ur answer as to why ur IGF is low. Sub par HGH is gonna lead to sub par results regardless of the compounds ur using....The serum number isn't the be all end all by any stretch, but ur IGF number is sub par and ur looking for answers so let's rule out sub par GH with the serum test
