I have a friend who in her early 40's and is looking into HRT.
Does anyone have any experience or information on a HRT regime for a woman in her 40's?
I have been doing alot of googling and reading but would also like some first hand info form women that are going through it.

She has talked to her doctor and they are not willing to do anything.
Told her she is just aging and to get use to it.

Testosterone Cyp 10mg EW
Estradiol Valerate 20mg E2W
Medroxyprogesterone Acetate 150mg E3M
Finasteride 5mg ED for first 6m the down to 2mg ED

Thank you.In the beginning I feel like its important to find a dr. To guide someone that's just starting out with something like that.

Once a person is completely comfortable and truly grasps all aspects of it then they can look into self medicating.

Regardless blood work is what's gonna tell the tale of what's needed.

She needs blood work to reveal her : FSH , LH , TotalTestoterone, E2, DHEA , Prolactin and Progesterone

HRT dose for females are based on her current levels and if shes Pre , Peri or Post Menopausal
HRT is also based on if she has 1 or both ovaries .

Estriol/E3 therapy is the safest of the 3 estrogen types for females but a mix of 70-80% E3 with a 20-30% E2 is OK also.
Progesterone ONLY IN PILL FORM IF NEEDED , not crappy creams that barely get absorbed.
Testosterone can be a cream or injection and id keep it at 5-10mgs weekly if its administered via injection , so her Total Test never exceeds 100ngdl , and preferably roams in the 60-70ngdl of Total Test
