So I am wanting to do a few different cardio routines and am curious what everyone else does. Since I am in the Army I need to run (sometimes) I have a record PT test once a year and my time has come so I need to start running again, but usually I just walk on an 11 incline at 3.0 to 3.5 for 30-45 min. So what do you do?

Stair climber, swimming, and jump roping for atleast an hour. No less than 3 times a week. Since I am cutting again I am up to 6 days a week. Sometimes I will just do the stair climber or add in a combination of all 3.

If I were you bro I would add them in.

I would love to, right now where I work all we have are 2 treadmills and when I'm home on my R and R my gym doesn't have stair climbers, I can't believe it either but we do have a pool, I never thought to jump rope, I did it back in the day during wrestling though, I will give them a shot, thanks!

on cardio only days i go non stop for 45min+ of stair climber, abs, incline treadmill, bike with resistance, elliptical with resistance. i just switch it up on cardio only days. butttt i generally do 15-25min of cardio after lifting on lift days as well and since I'm already warm i usually do incline treamil or elliptical if my knees or sore. i will b following this for more ideas :) ps everything I've stated I've been doing nothing but cut cycles... I'm up 25lbs... down 6%bf :)

Anybody ever do 30/60's? Sprinting all out for 30 seconds and then resting for 60, we had to do those in basic and they wrecked me!

They are very good. They also keep your metabolism elevated alot longer after you're through exercising as well.

The nice thing about living near mountains is that climbing a mountain is very intense and kills calories, went for a climb yesterday and was beat!

I use an elliptical. I have a bad back that flares up when I run.

Plyos 3x a week. 5x25 jump squats, 5x30 secs of high knees, 5x25 burpees, and 5x25 single leg jumps. 30 seconds of rest between every set.

Incline treadmill or swimming (having a pool is nice). Sometimes elliptical if my knee is bothering me (old tear in my patella acts up sometimes).

HIIT! best bang for your buck. You can do these on anything. I prefer stairmaster, 1 min as fast as possible, then 1-2 min "active rest" pace.
