San Francisco Giants' Melky Cabrera, just received a 50-game susspension after testing positive for testosterone.

No one is surprised... But it begs the question: how do you guys feel about steroids in profesional sports? I personally think they should test in highschool & college, but allow it once the players are in the majors... I don't know how that would work though, lol.

Damn 50 games?!?!?!

I think they should allow it in all professional sports. The majority are all doing it anyway and it should be the persons decision as to what they put into their body and not the governments as long as it isn't harmful.

I mean hell atleast testosterone should be allowed.

Agreed. The problem is that kids in highschool will think that have to do steroids to get picked up... So then you have every 16 year old who is decent at a sport doing steroids.

If any player tests positive twice they should be banned from the game.

wow, thats a pretty stiff sentence. I agree with the lot of you in that once you have earned the rights to be paid to play then what you do to enhance your body is your buisness

It's funny how the guys that used were always the most exciting players!!! Everyone wanted to see them smash baseballs!
I understand non users being bitter about playing against people that are using but I don't think the fa-s really care.

Have to say it makes the game much more interesting :)
How excited and how much publicity did baseball receive when McGuire and Sosa were bangin balls in to the stands. The
Downside is the younger generation being influenced.

agreed and to take it a step further . I feel as though alot of the special forces in military and law enforcement should be allowed to partiicipate in AAS. not that they dont already but legally .
