Hello let me first say I am a very new member but I am blown away by the level of professionalism and wealth of outstanding knowledge and information found here.

i was running a 10 week cycle of prop / Deca and had to make a change mid cycle, I won’t bore you with details but on another post I made regarding that change a user offer some advise. He stated he would have run NPP over Deca since it was only 10 weeks. The one time I used NPP in the past it caused me severe insomnia, and I don’t sleep well to begin with, CPAP and all that implies. My question is there a recommendation of something other than NPP that will give me NPP like results in a 10 to 12 week cycle and will not cause insomnia? I could adjust my cycle length but I would rather not as I have found that range works best for several reasons. Below is what I was running and this is normally what I run about 3 times a year. Keep in mind I am 50 and not an “advanced” bodybuilder. I am 5’ 7” weigh 225 and comfortably bench 305 / 5 reps 3 sets. I train to stay strong, healthy, and look good for my beautiful wife. I am not looking to put on any significant amount of mass just maintain where I’m at. Thank you for your help.

NPP is the only thing that has Deca qualities it’s the same compound different esters. From what you said I would try EQ. If you eat quality and train hard you’ll put on steady lean gains that you’ll hold. Some people say they have some anxiety while running EQ. I’ve never experienced. I love it because it makes it easy to eat my macro intake being it boost my appetite, and it makes me extremely vascular. Stay far away from Tren especially ace if you can’t sleep as it is.

Damn, just ordered some NPP to run with test prop and E. Didn't realize the NPP could pose such an issue. Sounds like you only tried it once...anyone here had the same issue and have it mellow-out over time?

Correct only tried it once. This was long before I learned to buy my own supplies and it was given to me free by my supplier at the time as a “see what you think” type of thing. I can’t be sure that it was the direct cause however that was the only change I made at the time and the insomnia went away after I cycled off it.
