Sydney police seize $1 million in cash

Drug squad detectives have seized a million dollars found in a Sydney safe deposit box.
The money was located at a CBD bank on Monday by officers executing a search warrant as part of ongoing investigations into a drug supply syndicate.
They have also arrested two men at inner western Ashfield, seizing methylamphetamine (ice), steroids and more cash.
The Strike Force Lavender operation follows the arrest of four men at Sydney International Airport last month.
A million dollars was also found on that occasion, along with a quantity of steroids.
All six men remain before the court. Detectives have not ruled out further arrests.
