View Full Version : Can HGH Cause Gyno? Make you lethargic?

I started taking 2iu/day about a week ago...and my left nipple is sensitive on and off. I've never heard of HGH, especially at this dosage, causing gyno.

Also, I feel lethargic now at times. Like, don't want to get out of bed lethargic. Could HGH be causing this?

Before anyone says anything, I haven't changed ANYTHING else with my protocol. I'm 750mg of test cyp weekly and 37.5mg exemestane daily and have been on this for about 10 weeks....had bloods drawn on week 6 and everything was fine and I felt great.

Really looking for specific answers about hgh and its ability (or lack thereof) to cause gyno and sluggishness.

Growth can raise prolactin..
so a prolactin Gyno is possible with GH..

it all stims from that hypothalamus brah!

Sounds like you MAY have an off balance of estrogen to prolactin..
cut back on the AI just a little..

BUT! This is only a guess and suggestion.. without bloodwork your kinda pissing in the fan and hoping you dont get sprayed..

I don't want to get into far fetched speculations but the "GH" you're using may be HCG (some of you may know that some GH in the past was faked by cheaper HCG, the notorious Ben Johnson was caught for instance on doping tests with HCG, while his coach admitted he used GH and not HCG). I post this mainly for a theoretical discussion purposes, and not accusing your source with faking GH, some will find my theory simply interesting -

HCG does cause gynocomastia per se, GH doesn't do so (GH indeed like mentioned here may trigger prolactin receptors and cause lactating but it doesn't cause hypertrophy of the breast tissue), a brief look on the brochure of GH will show that gynocomastia is not listed as a common side effect, while on HCG it'll appear on the top.

Furthermore - you're taking Aromasin which prevents the conversion of androgens to estrogen via aromatase (it's an enzym which converts the androgen to estrogens, and Aromasin inhibits its production). So Aromasin is effective in lowering estrogen levels which stems from high levels of androgens (like tesotsterone), however HCG triggers the testicles directly to produce estrogen, hence Aromasin can't help with that .....

So....Im almost certain its not HCG, bc I am suuuuper sensitive to HCG. I once tried 250/eod and my estrogen shot through the roof, I bloated so badly I could barely wear my jeans, and my e2 levels shot through the roof, my nips were sensitive, and I was tired and moody. Just to make sure, I am going to get a pregnancy test to test the hgh tonight -- i hope its not HCG bc I boight it from one of the sponsors here!

Following up on some of the question/comments

37.5 keeps my e2 between 15-25 on 750mg of test weekly

Approximately what is a good starting point for a caber dosage to negate prolactin gyno of 4ius of hgh/day??

I am!! If I understand this correctly, I just squirt some of the liquid from the bottle onto the test and go from there?

HGH can definitely make you lethargic. That was the reason I had to change injection from morning to before bed.

I have experienced gyno symptoms while taking HGH on cycle. They were Jins and i tested them with a pregnancy test just to make sure there wasn't HCG in them. It only happens to me when i take HGH while on cycle though. Everyone is different brother, I know most people don't experience this side effect but i do. Also i am very gyno prone to begin with and need to take quite a bit of AI with my cycles.

So NOT HCG.....confirmed by a pregnancy test.

I read where I can get a blood test.....but need to inject 10iu 3 hrs before the blood draw?!?!? 10ius?!?! I only take 4iu's a day! Can I do this with a lesser dosage or do I need to take 10ius?

Herc, I am "on cycle" now--running test at 750mg a week, which is about the most I do. What do you do while on cycle to mitigate the gyno sides from HGH?

Either stop the HGH, Do every other day HGH, or/and take Raloxifene

Ive been taking caber.....still sensitive. Im getting prolactin and e2 tested tomorrow.

There are 2 blood tests on discountedlabs.com for igf.
Igf-1 and
IGFBP-3

Which do i need to order, and do i need to time my hgh injection in relationship to my blood draw?

Would nolvadex work to combat gyno caused my HCG?

body take time to balance it self, when hormone speaking, about 2 to 3 months or more. Sometimes 6 months!
Stop taking AI, takes time, but body will balance it self
May be reduces test to 200 mg/wk for 2 or 3 months (cruising)
Then increase it just a little per week, only if needed.
(Usually just above TRT levels are more than enough)

HGH treatment competes or affects Insulin secretion and insulin receptors

HGH increase body production of glucose, at the same time, reduce the conversion of glucose to adipose tissue.
That way reduce body fat and make glucose available for energy.
Carbs intake increase glucose, high glucose results in an Insulin spike.
but with HGH and IGF-1 high in the body, insulin receptors are busy. Some how that extra glucose floating around increase tryptophan production making you sleepy and lethargic.
Been sleepy may not seen like a problem, but;
In the long run, eating trash food may cause an Insulin Sensitivity or Insulin Resistance problem.

Solution:

reduce HGH dose to 1 IU for the next month ( 30 days)

use HGH fasting, first thing in the morning.
Wait 1 hr to 1.5 hrs for breakfast.

Use a calorie app to track your food intake, My Fitness Pal is a good one.
You can set it in your computer for 3 meals and 3 snacks.
Make sure your totally daily carbs don't surpass the app recommendation.
