I have read a lot of opinions on which is better. I have also read that isolate undergoes more processing and to steer clear from it, so I would like some opinions. If concentrate is less $ and just as effective why shell out the extra for isolate?
Isolate does undergo a more significant filtration process thus costing more. isolates have less carbs, fats, lactose in its makeup thus producing a more pure protein of around 90+% pure protein and is more easily/quickly digested, this is ideal after an intense workout.
Concentrated Whey costs less but contains more carbs, fats, Lactose. It has typically has a percentage of 70-80% protein.
both are effective and the price can play a major part in ones decision.
