What is everyone's protein intake look like? I used to be around 250-275 but watched a video from a old bodybuilder who said that you get the best results from super high around 400-500 and was just wondering if anyone else goes by that? Past almost two weeks I've been hitting 400P/250C/100F Just as a switch up from my normal monotonous diet

You know, i can definitely identify with the fact that more protein could lead to more musculature. When thinking about the breakdown of say 5 meals thats 80 grams per serving. Ive always been told that the body can only assimilate so much protein at a time so.lets saybuf you take in 80 but you only assimilate 40, are you truly at 80 grams of intake

I have always shot for 1.5 grams per pound of goal weight. Served me pretty well so far.

I’ve taken 1 gram and up to 2.5 grams per lb of bodyweight. Along with certain PEDs. It usually depends on my goal for a certain period or cycle.

1g per lb works for me.

Ahhh the old protein discussion. I dont think there is a cookie cutter amount you should consume. Just experimenting with different macros and find what works for you is the only way. Just like aas really, everyone responds a little differently.

You are on point there. The key is to only consume 30 grams of protein at a time to assimilate all the protein you intake! So for me 1g/lb= 207 grams. 207/30=6.9 so I will eat 3 meals with 30 grams, 2 snacks with 30 grams protein, and 2 (muscle pharm combat protein from costco or wherever is cheapest on sale cause its the cheapest high quality I have found {you just have to go heavy on the scoop cause its 25g/scoop}) protein shakes of 30 grams protein ea.

I like to keep mine around 1.5 g/lb. My coach has me at 2g/lb.

I do agree with higher intake while cutting but while bulking i stick to around 1.2 to 1.6g per kg. But hey you gotta do what works for you and try out different macro ratios. Its a constant neverending battle to hack your body.

You can add protein to these or just have eggs with them.
