Now that crypto currency is well established, the powers that be are taking control of it... Starting with the IRS. Now, in order to collect taxes on crypto... they will need to identify who owes those taxes. Anonymity is about to dissapear folks!

With WU & MG clamping down too... Looks like good ol fashion CIM with tracking and a fake return address will be making a comeback? Just when you thought it was safe.... Brace for impact!

I wonder if switching up currencies will be able to get around it. Or monero.

I would say temporarily, however, all money & currency has strings going to the BIS & IMF. There are a small group of people who control the banks that print money & track debt for all nations. There is a version of the "Federal Reserve" (which is not part of the Federal govt, its a privately owned bank) in almost every country on the planet, Iran is one of the few remaining without a Rothschild controlled currency, hence all the tension regarding Iran.
Prior to 9/11 there were more: Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Iran. Notice how wars broke out in those other countries? Notice how war rumors and tensions are rising re: Iran? Its coming, strictly about controlling wealth. All money will come under the control of those who currently control the majority of it, anonymous transactions for everyday folks like you and will dissappear. Any challenge to that control, like Bitcoin, will either be eliminated, or brought under control and taxed. One day, the times we live in now, even with how tracked amd controlled things are today.... will look like the wild west to the next generations!

I got a letter a couple years back from irs. They can kiss my ass. Pretty much here in Florida if you keep your purchases under 20k you are clear. Not sure if it has changed in the last few months. Each state is different so check for your state and see what the threshold is. I saw some had to pay taxes an anything over 3k.

They passed a new policy. The noose is in place. Expect it to tighten as time goes on. I know nobody wants hear this because Bitcoin has become nice and comfy but heavy regulation is coming.

Cash in mail. There’s a reason it’s old school. Something becomes old school when it’s worked well for a very long time.

I do wish cash in mail was more regularly used.
That's how I did business for years, and no envelope ever got lost on its way to me.
(I did require a higher mailing service, such as USPS overnight express, or FedEx/UPS.)
Crypto, btw, already isn't private - feds can get records fairly easily from some of the services/wallets.

Anything on a computer is traceable. Ive never used Bitcoin or "crypto".

Just keep track of when you buy, most wallets keep that history... most likely you’ve lost money technically since you bought, even though you’ve sent it off... all you have to show is that loss and you can actually claim that loss as a write off... fight fire with Fire...

Now those who are making bank on the coins, I know a solid way to push it through the wash... but, that’s a guarded secret lol

Block chain technology is all about tracking. Literally it tracks it every step of the way. Up until this point the good point has been anonymous wallets. You can still use wallets behind a proxy to protect your ID. The true issue is the purchase of the BTC or any other crypto. That’s what you can’t hide. I dont think it’s time to ring the panic bell yet about using crypto to pay. The reality is everyone needs to be careful about their wallets and that being tracked. Smart sponsors will use a unique address for every transaction. Smart buyers will use a proxy server b4 sending off their donations. I get what you’re saying. It’s not like it once was but still IMO a much better option that western union or money gram. All that said I’m still a huge fan of CIM

Le places an order from the source. Source sends him cim address. LE sends source the tracking # for the cash. LE stakes out the fake po box opened by source. LE identifies the person picking up the cash. LE then starts surveillance. Downhill from there. Great for customers, foolish for sources.

Sources will end up moving to private crypto, not public ledgers. While Monero is most common, you're still leaking metadata. There are far more private cryptos out there, although they aren't widely accepted. If sources aren't willing to take them directly, use them as an interm hop after getting your btc.

its been like this in aus for some time to buy crytro from any legit source u have to show 100 points of id and pay tax but like any thing ther is a way around it.
